Rollo Insurance Salado
Dear clients & friends,
Recognizing that insurance is critical to our nation’s infrastructure and given our unwavering commitment to the wellness of clients and staff, our local offices will remain staffed and fully operational. However and in an effort to help combat the spread of COVID-19, our lobbies will be closed until further notice.
Instructions for basic transactional services (this includes most-basic policy servicing and payment receipt) can be obtained by calling-in to the local office ahead of time.
Policy consultation (new business issuance, policy remarketing, insurance reviews, etc…) will remain available in-office on a “by appointment/scheduled” basis only (same day service still available).
Please call, text, email, or webinar/facetime with any of our highly dependable agents and/or staff for anything we can do to be of assistance. We consider it a privilege to continue serving when our clients and country need it the most.

Texas is justifiably infamous for its long, scorching summers. The relentless heat and persistent sunshine force residents to ignore the other few months of the year, when parts of the state experience rain, sleet, ice, and freezing temperatures. When it comes to winterizing your home, pets, and automobiles, an ounce of preparation can be worth a pound of cure. Take just a few moments to familiarize yourself with some commonsense guidelines for avoiding damage to your property, possessions, or pocketbook.
Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner. Whether putting up decorations, pulling boxes out of the attic, or attaching Christmas lights to the house…The chances are that you or someone you know will reach for a ladder sometime in the next 60 days. Did you know that 90,000 people receive ER treatment for ladder-related injuries every year? Injury-related disabilities are life-impacting and unforeseen risks that many of us never consider until it’s too late. Be safe and encourage others to use extra caution this holiday season when working around the house. Also make time to visit with a personal agent at Rollo Insurance who can help you with disability insurance, home & auto, life insurance, and so much more.

You may have seen a post recently claiming that HEB was giving an $80 coupon to every family in Texas. As great as that sounds, it ended up being a hoax. And online hoaxes are not harmless. Many online hoaxes are after your personal information, or want to lead you to malicious websites. Here are some quick tips to help protect you and your family from this kind of online scam.
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. $80 is a lot of money, and there are a lot of families in Texas. Even HEB probably can’t afford to give away millions of dollars in free goods. The size and scope of the giveaway should be your first clue that something about this isn’t right.
If a post asks you to click on a link, look closely at the link before clicking. This particular scam had a URL that looked like it came from HEB. But a closer look shows that the link did not point to the real heb.com website. If a link looks suspicious, don’t click on it. It could be leading you to a site with malware.
Do a quick Google search before clicking on any link you’re not sure about. Multiple media outlets across Texas have articles calling out this particular post as a scam. If an offer like this is real, it should be very easy to verify with a 30-second Google search.
If a post asks you to submit your personal information, think twice before doing so. Usually, when a website asks you for your info, your info is the commodity. Be overly cautious when completing any online form that asks for your personally identifiable information.
