Happy Easter to you all!
I may be a retired vampire, but some things never die. I hope others remember there's a huge shortage. 4,000 blood drives nationally were canceled this week. There are places you can donate if you are healthy. We are all in this together! www.inovablood.org
Please consider supporting United Christian Parish Preschool by dining out at Glory Days tonight! Simply dine-in or carry-out at any Glory Days location, save your itemized receipt (not credit card receipt) and submit it to the church office attn: preschool fundraiser. 10% of the sales we generate will be contributed to the preschool’s scholarship fund. You’ll be cooking enough next week—take tonight off! See you there! 🍔🥗🍕
Thank you to everyone who welcomed me this morning! What an amazing community you have built!
Blessed beauty of nature!
The word for March 7 is Wander. One of my favorite places to wander is the grounds of Weston Priory in Weston, VT. I never take a walk there but I am refreshed and invigorated. It is a very peaceful place.

Yesterday my husband and I joined the Herndon Friends and Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax at a vigil and interfaith service at the NRA building in Fairfax to observe the 5th anniversary of the Sandy Hook tragedy. Ken Plum was one of the featured speakers and I also saw Rosemary Welch there. There was a diversity of faith leaders, including Muslim, Hindu, and Jewish, attending and speaking also. Thank you to UUCF for providing bus transportation to the venue.
Please consider supporting the UCP preschool by dining out tonight at Chipotle on Sunset Hills Road, behind Chick-fil-A. This is a big fundraiser for the school, 50% of our sales go to the fundraiser. Simply mention UCPP or show the photo below at check out. Thank you for your support!

Maundy Thursday Meditation

What MESSAGE will you share today?
Today's Lent photo-a-day word: MESSAGE.

Tomorrow we are offering an online Maundy Thursday meditation. It will be posted on Facebook at 9 AM. As part of the meditation, you are invited for virtual Communion. Prior to watching, gather a slice of bread and prepare a cup of juice. Don't have bread or juice? Improvise. It doesn't matter what you use. What matters is remembering the body and blood of Jesus given for you.
You may want to place these elements on table on a fabric or cloth that reminds you of a special time or person.
This brings us to TODAY’s word: TABLE. Do you have a table that is meaningful in your life?

Friends! Share your Easter greeting to others in a short video of yourself. The greetings will be complied together at the end of this Sunday's Easter online service. We need a few more to make it complete! Send your greetings to [email protected].

Today's word: SACRIFICE.

What is a SACRIFICE you made this Lent? Is there a SACRIFICE you are making today?

Who We Are

An open & affirming church, United Christian Parish is united in ministry: Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Presbyterian Church (USA), United Church of Christ and United Methodist. The practices and beliefs of all four denominations are seen in worship and our ministries. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to worship at God's table, no matter where they are on their faith journey. We intentionally work to be like Jesus - open to all we meet, regardless of any "labels" our society may attach to them.
