NAPS Class of 2017 just competed a very challenging 19 Days of INDOC. Very proud of Alex and all of his fellow Midshipman Candidates. They now are off to their well deserved 1st Weekend of Liberty!
NITRO, which marks the end of INDOC, has squads of midshipman candidates competing against each other in three phases – the Nimitz Field phase, the Prichard field phase and the Pit/Amphibious phase. While the most visible focus of each phase was on physical activities such as Tug of War, Wet and Sandy and the pugil sticks, each phase also included a mental challenge put on by the NAPS English, math, chemistry and physics departments.
