Our communications director, Patricia Mullett, gained experience in social media management while serving last year as Communications Director on a local campaign. Last fall, she had the opportunity to intern in the House of Representatives. Both of these experiences only increased her conviction in the importance of clear and effective communication. She’s excited to have the opportunity to coordinate and increase communication both within the APP major and with APP alumni.

Our Fundraising Director, Benjamin Crosby, was re-elected this spring. He is a 20-year-old sophomore from Burlington, Washington.

Last year, the APP program broke a multi-year fundraising drought because of his hard work. Benjamin's vision for his time as fundraising director is to help shape a program that is self-sustaining and will place students in successful positions for years to come. Benjamin brings a variety of skills and experiences to the table that have prepared him for this role and he's excited to use his talents to expand the APP Program’s reach and impact.

Our Events Director, Ben Purnell, is a 20-year-old Junior at PHC. He grew up in rural Indiana and, since coming to PHC, has poured himself into every possible aspect of the PHC community.

Since he joined the APP program, Ben has looked for every opportunity to support it and is excited to work as the Events and Recruitment Director to promote the APP program not just on campus but in the surrounding communities.

Our Chairman, Wyly Walker, was re-elected this spring and is looking forward to continuing to promote student involvement with the APP program and the local community.

Wyly is a 21-year-old Junior at PHC. He grew up in a small town but moved away from home to lead campaigns at the age of 18. He has held various leadership and management positions with several different organizations and campaigns and did a great job as chairman last year.

Last night, we held our annual APP Board elections and Wyly, our chair, spoke about some of the exciting things in the program's future.

A big shout-out to all the freshmen who showed up, voted, and ran for positions on the board. We're so excited you're joining us and can't wait to watch you get involved and expand the program.

Stay tuned to learn more about your 2020-2021 APP Board.

Great turn out for our annual executive board elections and spring meeting! Especially fantastic to see all of the freshman! #thefuture

Dear, PHC students, faculty, and staff, the George Wythe Editorial Board is inviting you to the annual George Wythe Symposium! This year we will be hearing from a special guest speaker Mr. Thomas Jipping, who is the deputy director of the Edwin Meese III Center for Legal and
Judicial Studies and a senior legal fellow at the Heritage Foundation.

Please come to the Boardroom April 23rd at 7pm to hear Mr. Jipping discuss the history of judicial appointments and specifically Justice Kavanaugh’s recent appointment and proceedings. Mr. Jipping was influential in the grassroots effort to confirm Kavanaugh and will give an interesting perspective into the process.

Happy Saturday! There were lots of smiles yesterday as these three repped the APP table at the PHC Admitted Students Day major fair. It was great to talk with prospective students, especially those considering the American Politics & Policy program!!

Chairman Wyly Walker had a fantastic time at the Purcellville Business Association Luncheon this morning! We'd like to thank Councilman Joel Grewe and the Association for allowing us to attend.

Happy Sunday, Everybody! 🎉
