A Traditional Water Heater works by storing water in a large 30-50 gallon tank and keeping it heated. The preheated water is used for laundry, showers, washes dishes, etc.
TANKLESS
A Tankless Water Heater is a water heater that instantly heats water as it flows through the unit. It does not retain any water internally except for what is gathered in the heat exchanger coil.
CIRCULATING
A Circulating Water Pump heats water almost instantly after you open your valves. The pump is designed to be installed on the hot water line leaving your water heater.

During the colder temperatures, water can freeze which can cause the water in the pipes to crack. By removing the hoses, there is no water that is able to enter into the pipes.
