Purely Vintage

Purely Vintage transforms and revives antique furniture into beautiful pieces that you'll be proud to have in your home.

Quick and simple dresser makeover for my son, Ari. General finishes milk paint in coastal blue with a satin finish.

A 24 hour soak in ketchup and rinse in vinegar.

Pretty little before and after.

Before and After
This project is proof that you shouldn't give up on your old beat up furniture!

Wow...This was a beautiful space to begin with, but we transformed it into a functional kids workstation using an old executive desk and stained butcher block top. Special thanks to Heather Burruss for trusting me with this project!

This yellow table was found on the curb for trash day! Before and After.

My first attempt at turning an old table into an ottoman. Here are some pics of the process...well, at least part of it.
Thanks for looking!

Before and After
This desk was a really cool find, but I had a vision for something much more BOLD! Deep navy on the outside with gold accents on the feet and SURPRISE pink on the inside. Gold chair was a redo from a couple of years ago, but I think they sort of belong together.

Still experimenting with handmade ottoman trays. This one is 25” square with a dark blue finish and pretty gold handles. It’s yours for $100!

This is a first for me! I typically do not make items from scratch, but I had a special request for a large, rustic ottoman tray and I couldn't say no!

Before and After!!
Nice, sturdy, blank canvas of a dresser. Now it's the perfect dresser for a little boy who loves airplanes!

Before and After

Simple dresser makeover. Every girl needs some sparkle in her bedroom!

Before & After
This dark stained coffee table was a little beaten up and lacked character, but after some new stain and a lightly distressed paint job, it's now a very charming piece of furniture. Don't toss your boring furniture...upcycle it!!

Happy Friday! Here is a little Before & After to start your day.

This is the first Purely Vintage project since relocating to Northern Virginia. This dresser was built in 1918 and it SHOWED! With a little makeover, she's ready for the next 100 years! Enjoy the before and after photos.

Unfortunately this dining table is already spoken for. It was finished with a beautiful walnut stain and base is painted with Annie Sloan chalk paint in Old White. Perfect little country kitchen table. (The before shots were taken after I began sanding...I guess I just couldn't wait to get started!)

This Chippendale style desk/table was already a gorgeous piece, but pretty beaten up over the years. The top was refinished with a dark java stain and the rest was finished with a custom mixed gray chalk paint with clear and dark wax for an antiqued finish. Love the way this turned out! Great as an entry/sofa table or writing desk. $225

Nice little bar chair makeover! Beautiful coat of pure white and seats are stained with a mixture of gray and walnut for a cool driftwood finish. 24” seat height.
$120 for the pair. SOLD!

Found this solo dining chair that needed some TLC. New fabric, metallic gold finish and antiquing glaze did the trick and its now a beautiful entry chair!

SOLD

Just finished this Mid-Century Harmony House credenza. Today it is looking beautiful in my home, but it can be in your home tomorrow! $325
