Rev. I cannot open the message you sent me. I don't have Facebook messenger. I can't keep it on my tablet. The program kicks me out no matter what I do. Also the tablet has too many apps on it. I have to trim all of the programs. It works like a computer but the memory is not that large. Sorry.
We had a guest speaker/singer at Unity of Grand Rapids today. To my happy surprise it was Lauren Lane Powell. She provided songs and an amazing presentation on how she made it through cAnswer.

We are not just another church. We’re spiritual instead of religious. We are accepting instead of judgmental. We are inclusive instead of exclusive. We are open-minded instead of dogmatic. We welcome diversity, questioning, and people of all faiths

We are inclusive instead of exclusive. We are open-minded instead of dogmatic. We welcome diversity, questioning, and people of all faiths. Come as you are and grow with us!

Stone Soup Supper this Friday evening! Of course there are no stones in our soup. The homemade soups, stew and chili are inspired by a legend about a stranger long ago who came to a village carrying only a cooking pot. He put it over a fire to boil water and a stone to make soup. Seeing he only had a stone for his soup, villagers added what food they had to his pot, creating a community pot of soup ample enough to share with everyone!
In this spirit of sharing and fellowship, we invite you to bring
a family-size pot or crockpot of homemade soup, stew or chili to share - or just come and enjoy what others bring. We’ll provide bread, beverages and bowls for sampling the delicious homemade soups. We had great soups and a lot of fun at last year's Stone Soup Supper.
Invite others (who don’t have to bring soup unless they want to) to come and enjoy the soups and fellowship, too! The suggested offering is $8 for adults and $3 for children under 12 yrs. Give as you are able to give, to support our ministry. Friday, January 10, at 7 pm in Fellowship. 813-948-4884. www.unitynorthtampa.org.

Our White Stone Ceremony this Sunday is an opportunity to connect with the sacred within us, to become clear about what Spirit Within, our Higher Self, is calling us to express in this new year. In ancient times when someone was released from servitude or prison, they were given a white stone signifying their freedom.
In Revelation we read a promise that we will be given a new name, which has new meaning and a new purpose. We can see our white stone as a freedom to express a new aspect of ourselves as spiritual beings, following Divine Guidance about what is ours to be and do as we move into a new year and a new decade. Center with us in a guided meditation to align with our inner guidance for clarity about what is ours to express in 2020. Invite family and friends to come with you for this special service at 10:30 am tomorrow.
Jan Coan leads our Grief Recovery Group tomorrow at 12:30pm, offering a safe place of loving support in recovery from the passing of loved one, a pet, or other losses such as divorce or job loss. A donation is appreciated.

Releasing and Beginning Anew! Tomorrow is our Burning Bowl Ceremony to release whatever has limited us, so we make the way clear or more peace and joy in 2020. After a guided meditation, we'll write what we are ready to let go of, release it in the fire of the Burning Bowl; and then write our intentions for the new year. Many people have found this ceremony to be effective in letting go of limitations and empowering our intentions, so that we are manifesting consciously. Invite family and friends to come with you to our meaningful service tomorrow at 10:30am. Let's make the way clear for a new beginning of a new year and a new decade! Blessings, Rev. Virginia Walsh

True Faith - Sometimes it may not feel like it, but we already have all the faith we’ll ever need. We don’t gain or lose faith; we discover it and we direct it. The issue is not how much faith we have, but how we direct this infinite spiritual power. True faith is a deep inner knowing that we already have all the power of faith we need, and that the good we desire is already ours. Learn more about putting our faith into intentional action tomorrow at our Sunday Celebration Service on this first Sunday of Advent.
Tatiana Kallman will be our Guest Soloist at tomorrow's service, too! Her solo will give us a preview of her concert, December 23.

"Thankslifting!" Giving thanks is a universal spiritual practice, and extensive scientific research has shown that expressing gratitude has multiple benefits for our well-being. Thanksgiving is also “Thankslifting” because it lifts us up in consciousness, helping us to be open to more good in our lives. As we become more grateful our higher vibration aligns us with more peace and self-confidence that increases with an ongoing practice of gratitude. Tomorrow during our Sunday Celebration Service we’ll invite you to share something for which you’re grateful, and I’ll share some of the surprising benefits of gratitude you may not have known about. I’ll also talk about why gratitude is so important spiritually. Please bring food to share for a Pre-Thanksgiving Fellowship and plan to stay for the Divine Audacity Class on the spiritual power of “Zeal”! In Loving Service, Rev. Virginia Walsh.

What is Divine Order? Many of us in Unity often affirm Divine Order. What is our intention when we invoke it? Do we really understand it? There can be many meanings and effects of this spiritual principle. This Sunday at 10:30 am, I'll explore the many facets of Divine Order and how it can increase our well-being, our relationships, peace of mind and prosperity!
At 12:30 we'll discuss even more about Divine Order in our Divine Audacity class. If you can't attend tomorrow, the class will be repeated Monday at 7-9 pm.
It's also Prosperity Sunday. Remember to bring your filled Prosperity Banks. In Loving Service, Rev. Virginia Walsh.

Our dear friend Rod Martin made his transition unexpectedly last Sunday due to natural causes. Rod's wife, Pam Betts, is a Prayer Chaplain here at Unity North Tampa. All are welcome to attend the Celebration of Life Service this Sunday, Sept. 29, at 1 pm in our Sanctuary. There will be a reception after the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Unity North Tampa in his memory.
We affirm God's infinite Peace comforting Rod's loved ones, and know that his sweet spirit travels on in Peace, enfolded in Divine Love. He will be greatly missed, though we know he is forever connected with family and friends through the eternal bond of Oneness and Divine Love.

Strength for every challenge! Unity cofounder Charles Fillmore taught that "Spiritual strength always overcomes the seemingly strong personal and material conditions." We have more than enough spiritual strength already within us than we may yet realize. It gives us stability in consciousness, courage to overcome fear, and the tenacity of determination and endurance. This Sunday, my message will be about activating the Strength of Spirit within us so we are empowered to overcome difficult life challenges.

Plan to stay after Fellowship for Our Divine Audacity class on the Power of Strength,12:30-2:30 pm. The class is repeated Monday evening at 7-9 pm. The suggested offering for the class is $10. More or less is gratefully received.

Faced with difficult life situations, we may easily feel helpless and hopeless.
