I am a proponent of bipartisan ideas on all things, especially housing. I am vice-chair for the DAAR Governmental Affairs Committee and our committee watches for legislation that will affect housing in VA and Loudoun County. There are MANY organizations and individuals brainstorming the issue that is affordable housing; this article suggests a fairly radical idea about the limiting of single-family housing and adding additional fees to real estate transactions/transfers to pay for it.
Read it with an open mind....think about consequences; intended and unintended....is it a good idea?
