The Lucketts Elementary PTA is an organization of parents, teachers, and administrators whose aim it is to provide our kids with a great elementary school.

We feel a strong tie to our past and want to preserve those ties by continuing traditions that have been passed on for years. At the same time, we value all members of our Lucketts community, old and new, and embrace new ideas that you propose. We welcome you to the Lucketts Elementary School community and look forward to great years together!

What will the day bring? Gardening, good, good dental hygiene and orthodontics? Here is what a few of our Lucketts Elementary School PTA partners have in store.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of our incredible Lion moms. We hope you have an awesome day.

Don’t forget your Mom or special caretaker, friend, or helper this weekend! Here are a few of our local business partners who are ready with curbside pick ups!

Happy Field Day, Lucketts Lions! It's supposed to start raining around noon so get outside early today! There are several families in Village Green that will have field day games set up in driveways and on sidewalks. If you are OK with social distance sharing, please leave your game up for others to use. Stay safe, continue to social distance and enjoy today!

Congratulations to our Lucketts Elementary School PTA 2020 Scholarship Winner Maia Grove and our Lucketts Elementary PTA 2020 Military Scholarship Winner Marcel Jeantel!!!

Thank you teachers and staff!

Our community partner, The Lucketts Ruritan Club, has a goal to raise at least $20,000 to assist with three areas of need coming out of this Covid-19 pandemic. The Ruritan Club wants to assist with education (gaps our kids are experiencing), hunger relief and emergency relief for families who live in Lucketts. Unlike other funds making this type of request right now, the Ruritan Club is committed to using the funds within our local Lucketts community. To learn more about the fundraising effort please visit the link below.

Welcome to #SaveWithStories —a spot to watch your favorite celebrities read your favorite children’s books! We are galvanizing (without hair and makeup!!) as a community to support a new fund for a combined effort between Save the Children US and Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry (and thank you to our founding publisher, Scholastic ♥️).

THIRTY MILLION CHILDREN in the United States rely on school for food. School closures will hit vulnerable communities hard and #SaveTheChildren and #NoKidHungry are on the ground and ready to serve. They just need our help!

These funds will help us make sure that families know how to find meals when schools are closed, support mobile meal trucks, food banks and other community feeding programs, provide educational toys, books and worksheets, and support out-of-school-time programs to help kids make up for lost time in the classroom.

If you can manage a one time gift of $10, please text SAVE to 20222. If another amount would work better for you, please visit our website—http://ow.ly/gxuV30qq1nf. There is no maximum and there is no minimum—together we will rise and together we can help.

Thank you and stay safe. XX - Jen and #AmyAdams

While your Lucketts Lion(s) are at home learning they can create masterpieces and foster their creativity while supporting your school. The entire family can participate! This is a great time to create family collaboration art pieces. You may want to send artwork gifts to grandparents who I know are missing their grandchildren terribly or you may want to make mementos of this historic event in our lives.

It’s easy!!

1. Visit www.displaymyart.com and print the art paper template (located under “resources”)

2. Create your masterpiece. (FREE art projects are available on www.displaymyart.com)

3. Take a picture or scan your art.

4. Email your masterpiece along with your order to [email protected] (we will contact you for payment once the image is processed.) Provide us with the school name, teacher and grade so your school gets the credit.

We're sharing creative activities on our page, so you can also check out https://www.facebook.com/displaymyart/

Super Kicks has supported the Lucketts Elementary PTA at numerous events throughout the years and are now offering live online classes during the Corona virus!

✨ Are your kids bored and stuck inside? Are YOU?! Take some karate & kickboxing classes with us, TOTALLY FREE! Get some energy out, have fun doing something new, and learn to defend yourself.
❤️ Super Kicks Karate will be part of the solution to the Coronavirus, and in that end, we have canceled regular classes until we feel it’s safe to resume. 😢
🤯 However, we still want our families to be able to learn and train, so we have started offering LIVE online classes for our current members.
✔️ Same energy!
✔️ Same intensity!
✔️ Same awesomeness!
And now, we’d like to invite YOU, our Ashburn and Leesburg community, to be a part of this! TOTALLY FREE!
📹 We will be teaching a LIVE Kickboxing class for parents each day, and a LIVE Karate class for your entire family each day, and also loading them on demand so you can access them if you miss the live times.

❤️ Again, this is totally free, just for our Ashburn and Leesburg community, so we can support you and give you some options while life is kinda up in the air.

👇 Click on the link below, fill out the form, and it will take you to a private website that will give you access to our schedule for this week, the LIVE online class link for Karate and Kickboxing, and a handful of other goodies that you will enjoy! 👇
