This is the last farmers market Saturday for 2020 so let’s celebrate by supporting these local vendors who plan to spend their Saturday morning with you!! ‘twas the market before Christmas and all through downtown, not a customer was stirring, not one to be found. Their baskets hung by the door on a rail, with plans to wake up and be overflowing with kale. Customers shopping for holiday feasts and picking up gifts and last minute treats! So hop out of bed and bundle up (it is cold!); St. Nicholas wants you to shop local I’m told! ❄️

Mill Road Farm

Thanks to pumpkins for pigs we have had a tremendous outpouring of pumpkins. This afternoon we took out some of our sme of th pumpkins to the Stone Barn group of cattle. The Farm crew had fun helping the cattle by breaking up some and walking through poo. Mama Bear was upset withe her cubs that had walked through cow pies.

Some of you may have noticed a new sticker added to our packages of Drunken Crab cheese.
After a couple batches of making Drunken Crab with Cushwa Brewery stout beer, we decided to look for something a little bolder to pair with our delicious curds. That’s when we found Homaide Brewing Co. just up the road (actually in the old Cushwa Brewery location). They have an awesome Milk Stout beer which has become our new base for our beer washed curds that are pressed and encrusted with Old Bay to make that amazing Drunken Crab that everyone loves!! 🦀 🍻
We’re very proud to be the only aged cheese made on the farm in all of Washington County!! And with the beer made less than 2 miles from our farm, you won’t find any cheese more local than Deliteful Dairy cheese‼️
