Building Kidz School

Building Kidz School

We are part of the Building Kidz Worldwide family of campuses, providing preschool and childcare services for our community in Leesburg.

Our philosophy is to develop the “whole child”. We focus on 6 key areas of development: emotional, social, cognitive, physical, communication, and academic. We create an environment where children are challenged intellectually and are engaged in an interest of lifelong learning through an intelligent integration of academics and performing arts. It is this philosophy and our preschool programs that has made us one of the top preschools and childcare services in America. Our mission is to deliver a world class preschool experience resulting in children that love learning, connect with the performing arts, and demonstrate accelerated development of their character, confidence, and commitment. Our curriculum is a comprehensive arts-integrated learning program in which children develop skills and knowledge of numeracy, literacy, music, arts, socialization, self-regulation and control, self-efficacy, morality, fine and gross motor skills, and emotional expression. Additionally, our children perform two shows annually: a Broadway style production in June and a winter recital in December.

Art classes and extracurricular activities are an important part - a critical piece of the curriculum at Building Kidz of Leesburg! Please remember to incorporate them into your at home learning agenda! Have fun projects? Share them with us!

Are you looking for a great way to teach your kids about American History? Why not start with the American Flag? We found this cool way to incorporate history with art AND do something amazing for Veterans at the same time. This kid's wooden American flag build kit by Flags of Valor is a amazing way to do just that!!

You will need crayons or markers for art class and you may want to make sure you know the meaning behind the flag as your history lesson: Discuss the symbols within the flag...50 stars, 13 stripes, the colors red, white, and blue.

Thanks FOV for creating the perfect art project for patriotic families stuck at home!

When we created the Kid's Flag Build Kit, we had a few things in mind. We wanted to empower our Combat Veteran team to develop and create something meaningful. We wanted to help an organization that focused on education and children during COVID-19. We wanted to bring families together; centered around patriotism and citizenship. We wanted children to have fun and make something with their hands. After all of that... we wanted to make it affordable.

2 weeks later we feel we are on the right track. The Kit is sweeping across America and we couldn't be happier. Thank you for your unbridled support. We love the photos, videos, and testimonials.
