The Federal Trade Commission has cautioned Americans to beware of scams:

“Do not give anyone your personal information to ‘sign-up’ for your relief check. There is NOTHING TO SIGN UP FOR. Anyone calling to ask for your personal information, like your Social Security number, PayPal account, or bank information is a scammer, plain and simple. Also, be on the lookout for email phishing scams where scammers pretend to be from the government and ask for your information as part of the ‘sign-up’ process for the checks…No one has early access to this money. Anyone that claims to [provide early access] is a scammer.”

Coronavirus Disease 2019: Myth vs. Fact

I know people are very worried about Coronavirus. Here was an excellent piece put out by John's Hopkins. While we need to take precautions to avoid areas that the virus is actively spreading, I do think it is important not to panic. Worldwide here are the statistics. COVID-19: Approximately 2,770 deaths reported worldwide; 0 deaths in the U.S., as of Feb. 26, 2020. Flu: 291,000 to 646,000 deaths worldwide; 12,000 to 61,000 deaths in the U.S. per year.
Though COVID-19 is likely to affect more lives before a treatment plan is identified, we need to have some perspective. Take Care and Wash Those Hands!!!
