Wesley Arnold, a member of Patrick Power Council 4588 in Livermore, presents a certificate to Alexander Martinez, winner of the age 11 division at a Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship hosted by the council at Livermore High School. Council 4588 also sponsored an essay contest for fifth- through eighth-grade students of St. Michael Catholic School, awarding certificates and cash prizes to students with the best essays on how home, church and school have helped them grow in virtue.
