501(c)3 non-profit organization. Founded in 2015, One.Love.Loudoun holds fundraisers, drives, and community service opportunities to support, or in conjunction with, startup nonprofits in Loudoun County who have not received grants or funding and that want to pool their resources to help each other AND the community.
This group is ALL INCLUSIVE! Men, women, and children are all encouraged to participate in or volunteer for these events. We hope to support various causes. Our goal is to have regular fundraisers, supporting charities that are voted on by our members. We are excited to help facilitate fundraising events for local nonprofits, and to give residents a chance to make a real difference in their own neighborhoods. We are excited for you to grow with us in 2015 and beyond!!!
Mission: One Love Loudoun uses local resources to create local solutions to local issues with the support of local residents and local businesses. In 2016 we will be focused on creating projects where our youth can get involved, youth of all ages. We want them engaged with our senior community, with our first responders, with our veterans, with their underprivileged and emotionally and mentally challenged peers. There is a huge gap in our community philanthropy, we aren’t starting young enough. We aren’t providing our youth with the opportunities they need and want. We can talk about it all we want, but we don’t have the means to demonstrate the importance of kindness and giving back. One Love Loudoun will be creating and facilitating these opportunities.
Operating as usual
Not sure if I ever actually announced that I dissolved One Love Loudoun last year. It served its purpose for me but I learned a ton a long the way and met so many amazing people. I keep this page up and active so I can continue to support the local community and all of the wonderful charities that I had the pleasure to work with over 4 years. Thank you all that supported me and all of the organizations that we helped raise funds and awareness for. I’m grateful for every single one of you.
Please go like and support some of my favorite pages, whether it’s time, expertise, or money, everyone can give back.
I also urge each and every one of you to consider donating blood regularly.

Northwest Federal Credit Union is doing a Diaper Drive to benefit Northern Virginia Diaper Bank. The need for diapers is staggering. So many people are out of work or getting reduced pay, and they are having to decide between paying rent, buying food and buying diapers. Unfortunately with social distancing in place stores that typically do diaper drives to help are not doing them as well. The Diaper Bank that we support, that serves Loudoun and Fairfax county is desperate for help!
You can buy diapers on Amazon and have them sent directly to us and we will get them disseminated ASAP to the tiniest little ones in the community who REALLY NEED THEM.
This is the link to the Amazon Wish List: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2HQVFZME5ZFM4?ref_=wl_share
Every diaper helps! Please donate and help us help the community!
If you’re looking for a way to help.
Spreading the word about a volunteer need in Loudoun County -
Loudoun County schools are closed at least for the next week and possibly longer due to the Coronavirus situation. The school system has a need to get these children fed. (Many rely on school lunches in order to have enough to eat.) Loudoun County will be providing food for the students at all the Loudoun County high schools. Some of it will be taken by buses to distribution points and others will be picked up at the High Schools themselves. They are looking for packers to help them pack the breakfasts and lunches. Anyone interested in participating in helping these hungry kids, your efforts will be most appreciated!.
Packing events will be from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM Mon through Friday this week. Send this info to - [email protected] if you can help.
Your phone number (this is so if they have enough volunteers they can let you know not to come in that day)
Which High School you would like to help out in
Which day/s (M,T, W,TH, F) you would be available.
Please send by Saturday by 6 pm so it can be pulled together into one report to send to the school coordinator.
This program is for feeding ALL students under 18 and not just the reduced lunch kids. Also, she indicated that if you want to bring high school kids to help, that would be fine but no younger middle or elementary kids.
Thanks for considering this event and thanks for all you do for God's hungry people!
Please donate blood if you can!
From tattoo Tom Mitchell:
Northern Virginia friends there is currently a seriously critical shortage of blood in our area. There is a very real chance they could run out of blood altogether. Two of our local pediatric cancer patients were unable to get transfusions today. This is one of those times for humanity to shine!
