It's a #tennistuesday fact of the day!!! Tennis is believed to have originated in the monastic cloisters in northern France in the 12th century. Interestingly, the ball was then struck with palm of the hand. At that time it was named “jeu de paume” (game of the palm). Rackets came into use during the 16th century.

Thank you to all that attended our Thanksgiving Tea Party! We hoped you enjoyed and hope you have a wonderful holiday!

The holiday season begins this week with Thanksgiving. We know that food choices are hard during this time, but here's some #motivationmonday to remind us all that small adjustments don't have to mean deprivation.

DID YOU KNOW that the US Army has very specific rules for how sit-ups should be done? Could you pass the Army Sit-Up Test?

To do a regulation sit up, assume the standard sit-up position but feet should be 12" apart and the heel is the only part of your foot to touch the ground. You must come all the way to the top (without your elbows touching your knees) and you must lay all the way back down.

How many can you do in 2 minutes? That's your score. Check out this chart for how many sit ups you would need to pass.
