"You bring out a lot of your own thoughts and attitudes when acting. I think a great deal of it has to do with the inner you. You know, there's nothing damnable about being a strong woman. The world needs strong women. There are a lot of strong women you do not see who are guiding, helping, mothering strong men. They want to remain unseen. It's kind of nice to be able to play a strong woman who is seen." - Ginger Rogers

Wowza! As numerous theatrical institutions have admirably opened up their archives in response to increasing lockdown restrictions, all eyes have remained on one organ

ADAM: I have been examining the great waterfall. It is the finest thing on the estate, I think. This new creature calls it...
EVE: Niagara Falls!
ADAM: ... Why?
EVE: It LOOKS like Niagara Falls.
ADAM: That... is not a reason...

Still missing this one... hard. The 39 Steps from 2013:

And then there was our ca 1950s Taming of the Shrew...

While we're in a bit of a break, thought it would be fun to revisit some of my articles on theatre. Hope you enjoy! You know this one? Fact is, crises opens doors to creativity. Enjoy!

Hvala vam! #ostanidoma #christophertinmusic #DCINY #CallingAllDawns

Today, we were to travel to New York where we would participate in Calling all Dawns: a song cycle composed by Tin Christopher, presented by Distinguished Concerts International New York (DCINY) . Sadly, the current situation prevented this from happening. Fortunately, we are healthy and setting an example by staying at home and joining our voices in this remote performance. Baba Yetu — the Lord’s Prayer in Swahili — is an opening song in the cycle. Let this be our prayer for those who are sick or obliged to stay at work and provide for society. Thank you! #stayhome #christophertinmusic #DCINY #CallingAllDawns
