Thank you to our teachers! Virtual Teacher Appreciation Week 2020!
Hello all from the SCPTO! We want to still celebrate our wonderful teachers for the upcoming teacher appreciation week. Please have your child make a picture and then take a picture with it, a short 15 sec video, or anything else you would think that could go out digitally!!! Email to President Stephanie Rabius at [email protected] by May 1st and she will have them posted for teachers to see and receive. Stay tuned for announcement of our next meeting too.
So today was such a good day, driving around to wave to the kids and parents. We miss your kids during summer breaks but by May, we're ready to let them go. We've done what we set out to do, prepare them the best we can to be successful in the next year. This has been especially hard though because it happened so quickly. I really appreciate all the parents who are grateful for our attempts to see your children continue to learn, progress, and grow. But really, parents, I'm in awe of you! Most of you don't have a Masters in Education and over 20 years of experience. This is what I do. It isn't what you do. I'd be lost walking in your shoes in your place of business. So, I just wanted to take a moment to thank YOU, parents, for all your efforts to make the most of the situation. Your love for your children, our school, and our parish is so evident. Again, Thank you!!! CRUSADERS ROCK!!!
We missed the parade, but wanted to say we love St. Cecilia staff! ❤️
This right here... surprising a teacher with hellos from the road is why St. Cecilia rocks!!!! The students in 3rd Grade surprised Ms. Sumpter today!!!

Thank you for a wonderful Christmas breakfast! Our parents and students are the gift we receive every day. #blessedandthankful

Please read the Looking Ahead: Protocols for Celebrating the Liturgy Amid Covid19 PDF provided by the Diocese. It should be helpful to the many people who are inquiring as to when we will open our Church and what to expect when we return. As you will see, there are still many realities to consider. Fr. Mario Tizziani has provided several recorded explanations as to how these restrictions will effect St. Cecilia Church beginning on Wednesday May 20th.
