[03/30/20] Stay safe everyone. Do your part and we can keep this spark from turning into a forest fire. This is real, but we can ameliorate the situation locally if we use our common sense.
Beware when travelling to Utah friends and clients. As of January 1, 2019 Utah's revised DUI law drops the legal blood alcohol content limit from .08 to .05....the lowest level in the United States. Depending on your size and metabolism, that could mean as few as two or three drinks.
Always best to have a designated driver, or call a transportation service provider.....but if you get pulled over, remember to exercise your right to remain silent.

[05/11/18] Please take note: If you have just been sentenced to one year in the state penitentiary, and are parole eligible in 3.5 months, and you have already served 96 days (meaning you will pretty much pass yourself getting out as you are going into prison) do not make things worse by escaping from the County jail right after sentencing. You just went from losing a few weeks of your life in prison, to facing at least 5 years, and possibly 10 years, on an escape charge.
"Teen turns down plea deal for 25 years in prison, gets 65 years instead"
A young man in Alabama, Lakeith Smith, (15 at the time of the event) was convicted of felony murder under Alabama's accomplice laws. The individual who was murdered was actually the Defendant's 16 year old accomplice, who was shot and killed BY THE POLICE during the course of a burglary.
Unforeseen consequences to that young Defendant, I am sure, but a foreseeable danger in the eyes of the law. Very tough life lesson.
[04/04/18] Remember people, when you are being questioned by law enforcement, please exercise your right to remain silent. The LEO is not trying to help you, he or she is looking for evidence.
