The university’s Mountain Research Station is literally on top of the research when it comes to how our environment is evolving over time. The station is home to many other research divisions including the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, who have been sampling greenhouse gases here since 1967. Much of the research is lead by fellows and professors in ecology and geography.
