DESERT REGION CHAMPIONS!!!
Coronado HS Soccer is going to state! The Cougars annihilated Desert Oasis in the championship 4-1.

We’ve got a bus full of Cougars heading to the Desert Region Championship games. Both men’s and women’s soccer will play at 4pm at Bettye Wilson on adjacent fields. Bring the hype!!!!

The Cougars finished off the defending state champs tonight with a 3-0 win over Gorman... and we are on to the finals on Friday versus Desert Oasis.

7-0 victory for the Cougars tonight as they advance to the semi finals on Wednesday at 4pm at Bettye Wilson.

[11/05/19]   The Coronado Cougars play this evening against Sierra Vista at Bettye Wilson soccer complex next to Cimarron Memorial high school. This quarterfinal  Game kicks off at 4 PM.
There is a fee at the gate at Bettye Wilson.
Adults = $10
Students = $5
Senior Citizens (62 & older) = $3
Children (8 & younger) = free

The BMMS girls soccer team advanced in the CCSD soccer playoffs with a 4-1 home victory over West Prep Academy. That means they play tomorrow at 3:45 at Cram Brian & Ten MS Middle School. Go Bobcats!

It's #SeniorNight! Come celebrate the Seniors in their final fall home games, with Women's Soccer at 3pm, Varsity Football and Cheer honored at 6pm, Marching Band and Honor Guard honored at halftime. Kick-off at 7pm, bring your school ID!

Class of 2020

The women’s soccer B-Team beat the Foothill Falcons 2-0. Adelaide Zolik and Grace Loosbroock scored the two goals. Loosbroock and Sloane Vuckovic came away with the assists. Jadyn Brandstetter recorded the shutout. Next game is Friday, October 18 at Coronado at 3pm.

The Coronado Cougars varsity team took on Gorman today beating them 2-0. Regan DiGuilio and Xayla Black had a goal apiece. Lexi Pashales had two assists and Taylor Book recorded the shut out.

The women’s soccer B-Team beat the Sierra Vista Lions 2-0. Adelaide Zolik scored both goals with assists from Olivia Vaughn and Riley Wolanzyk. The shutout goes to Jadyn Brandstetter, Izabella Lang, and Imani Bieniemy.

B-Team plays again Thursday, October 17th at Coronado HS against Foothill.

The Women’s Soccer B-Team beat the Shadow Ridge Mustangs Friday, October 4th, 2-0. Olivia Vaughn and Marisa Skelton scored for the Cougars with assists by Skelton and Riley Wolanzyk. The shutout goes to Jadyn Brandstetter. Their next game is Monday, October 7 against Green Valley High School at Coronado with the game starting at 3pm.

With a great team performance by the Coronado JV team, they picked up a 9-0 victory over Durango HS. Lynnea Smith put the Cougars on top with a hat-trick along with the help of Brianna Lancaster who had 1 goal and 3 assists. The Cougars will face Green Valley next Thursday

The Cougars varsity team finished off the Liberty Patriots today in a 2-0 victory. Regan DiGuilio and Alexis Pashales⚽️ each had a goal while Xayla Black had two assists.

The Cougars’ Freshmen B team beat the Liberty Patriots 5-1. Izabella Lang, Adelaide Zolik, Olivia Vaughn, Sloane Vuckovic, and Riley Wolanzyk all added a goal in the victory. Zolik also helped out with an assist along with Marissa Skelton and Imani Bieniemy. The B team plays again on Friday, October 4th against Shadow Ridge at Coronado. Start time is 3pm!

Coronado’s Varsity Soccer team beat Foothill today 7-2. Alexis Pashales had two goals and two assists. Celeste Kiernan, Alexis Hale, Kaylee Zicha, Regan DiGuilio and Molly Russell each added a goal a piece.

[09/25/19]   Coronado’s B team beat the Foothill Falcons 2-0! Goals were scored by Sloane Vuckovic and Isabella DeJong. Assists by Corinn Sloop and Gracie Howard. Izabella Lang and Jadyn Brandstetter share the shut out.

[09/22/19]   With 4 goals by Morgan Dougherty, 3 assistances by Jaeya Grey, and 2 more assistances by goal keeper Ally Johnson, Coronado JV picked up another victory over Basic High School.

The Cougars shut out SECTA today 8-0. Chrysta Vasquez had 3 goals with Alexis Pashales, Celeste Kiernan, Alexis Hale, Carly Gustafson and Sophie Chura each adding one. Come check them out on Thursday at home versus Basic High School.

Coronado Cougar Xayla Black breaks away toward goal in the Cougars 8-0 victory over Sierra Vista. She had one goal and one assist. Other goal scorers included Chrysta Vasquez, Alexis Hale (2), Molly Russell (2), Celeste Kiernan and Sophia Chura. Alexis Pashales had 3 assists and Taylor Book recorded the shut out. The Cougars will face SECTA Tuesday of next week.

B Team defeated the Sierra Vista Mountain Lions 6-0. Imani Bieniemy scored 2 goals while Isabella DeJong, Corinn Sloop, Marissa Skelton, and Riley Wolanzyk all scored 1 goal. Grace Loosebroock with 3 assists, and Jayden Brandstetter and Izabella Lang share the shut out.

The JV team had a shut out win against Centennial in their first home game of the season.

Cougars take first loss of the season against Centennial at home, 0-2.

...and we’re coming home. The Cougars play in the LVKO Tournament each day at 3pm Monday through Thursday.

Victory #2 in Tahoe for these gals with a 2-1 win over Truckee High School. Molly Russell and Alexis Pashales each scored with assists from Allison Brockelman and Milan Cordone. Two more games tomorrow!

First game of the season= first win of the season.
The Cougars faced Douglas High School in S Tahoe today beating them 4-0. Sophomore Alexis Pashales had three goals and freshman Trinity Buchanan had one. Taylor Book recorded the shout out. The Cougars will face Truckee High School at 4:30 PM today.
