“Hi! I’m Lauren and I am a first year DO student at Touro. I was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. I attended Louisiana State University (LSU) for undergrad and majored in Petroleum Engineering.
I liked Petroleum Engineering, but I always knew I wanted to be a physician.”
“My own struggles with scoliosis reinforced what I learned in engineering - structure is everything! And medicine tells you that structure dictates function. I can’t wait to be part of a medical team in the future that helps others regain structure, and ultimately, health.”
“TUN was my first choice in medical school because of its promise to always put students first, its Judeo-Christian values, and location. Since starting in August, I’ve met some of my best friends and plenty of helpful role models!”
“After TUN, I hope to serve the Southern Nevada community as a family medicine physician, gastroenterologist, or pathologist.”
