This weekend concluded the summer of tent/outdoor weddings!
A few things for 2020..
1. Wireless audio is a MUST with tents! I upgraded a few pieces this summer, and have a plan to tweak that a bit to have sound out around the tents and grounds for that full area coverage even more than this year! For some locations this year we did 5 speaker placements.. a few could have used up to 8 for soft background coverage like you find walking in Vegas past the casinos.
2. CORDS.. HEAVY CORDS.. This was my trip to St. Cloud yesterday. It seems we had to run power up to 200 feet at times, and the bigger the power cord, the better. I will also be adding the twist and seal connection covers after this past weekend's wedding having moisture cause some issues.
3. Wait.. now we could do three weddings? Yes.. my two sons are both doing mobile events now! For 2020.. not only will Dad be doing weddings like he has for the past 30 years.. Brandon and Michael are also out now doing mobile events on their own.. and doing quite well with them if I might add!
So, for a quick recap.. I have performed outdoors with a fan, with a heater, with and without power.. yeah.. it was a fun season! :)
