How long have you been practicing at Fuller Yoga

I have been at Fuller Yoga a little over two years now

How has your mindset changed since you started practicing? What benefits have you received?

I find myself trying to be more mindful of my actions and emotions towards others. You really never know what anyone is dealing with at any given time. Sometimes it’s important to remember to take a step back, a deep breath, and then dive into the situation. I have become stronger both physically and mentally. I’m much more comfortable in my body. I hit the “goal weight” I have set for myself but I’m much stronger and more flexible than I expected

Favorite pose/move and why?

My favorite pose changes all the time. Right now I’m liking extended side angle stretch. I love the feeling of stretching from fingertips to toes. I also love a knee down twist after practice. It provides a great release!

Any advice for newbies just starting out on their yoga or Pilates practice?

Don’t be afraid to try something new! You’d be surprised just how beneficial yoga can be. Even if you have another exercise routine, yoga can be an excellent addition to that! It can help alleviate pain and also help you become a better person in general. I recommend it to everyone!
