[06/02/20]   Dear Harvest Church Family,
Starting June 7, 2020, we invite you to join us for our “Together Again Service” at Harvest Church!
We are so excited to lift our voices together and dig into God’s Word together! We understand there are still a lot of unknowns ahead, so it is our intention to provide some sort of clarity regarding worshipping together.

1. We are excited to see everyone again, to worship together, but we also want each attender to feel safe and comfortable. We are committed to respect others by: social distancing, utilizing hand sanitizer, and obviously by not attending if anyone in your family is feeling ill or has shown any symptoms within the previous 2 weeks.
2. We will continue to love and respect those who chose to decline the opportunity to participate in
meeting together at this time. In fact, if you feel that pre-existing conditions make you more vulnerable please error on the side of caution for your own safety. We will continue to record all worship services and post them on our website and Facebook.
Hebrews 10:25 tells us: “And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.” As we go forward, we want to be perfectly clear, the COVID-19 threat isn’t somehow instantly in the past, rather we are cautiously, gradually returning to
corporate worship. The COVID-19 threat was, and still is very real – please consider very carefully if you and your family are ready to resume meeting together. We have put to practice the cleaning / disinfecting
standards of the CDC and we will practice social distancing when we gather together.

Please understand:
-Everyone who chooses to come is expected to respect our new phased guidelines while at church. If this will prove difficult for you, we encourage you to stay home and enjoy the service watching our live stream.
- At least for the immediate future, several things will be different:
* The kitchen & fellowship hall will be closed. No coffee or refreshments will be served.
* The nursery will not be available for use and no child care will be provided.
* We will practice social distancing at all times.
This is a time for us to unite in spirit and encourage those around us. Speak life to everyone! Pray for one
another and for our leaders!

We hope to see you soon,
Pastor Kevin (Interim)
Pastor Ricky (Youth)

[05/13/20]   Here is an update on Rick and Peg from Peg this afternoon.

Rick got a good nights rest last night🙌 He has had a busy morning so far.

His hemoglobin went down a little bit more, it was at 7.7 this morning😔

His immune system is still attacking his RBC.. also his WBC and platelets were bit lower as well.

Dr. Alkhatib was back today again-they emailed him yesterday to keep him in the loop with Rick being back and everything they were doing with him like his 2nd Rituxan treatment.

They are starting the IVIG treatment this afternoon. This is supposed to help boost his immune system🙏

If you haven't been on the gofundme page yet today, Rick posted a video. 😭
He has been so crazy positive through this whole time. God is wrapping his arms around him 🤗

It blesses my heart how much compassion you all have for Rick and I. Thank you again for all your your kindness 😌❤️🥰

Thank you so much for everyone who has been faithfully praying. ❤️❤️

We totally feel the peace. 🙌

Peg & Rick 🥰

Read the post for more detailed info but briefly: Family camp and kids camp decisions will be made by the end of May. If there is kids camp, it’ll be moved to July.

From Pastor Mark Dean, MN District Council of the Assemblies of God Superintendent:
As we all prepare for future days, I want to take a few moments to share our approach towards 2020 Lake Geneva Summer Camps. In a sentence, we're fighting to give every opportunity for families, kids, and students to be able to gather this summer at Camp. If it doesn’t happen, it won't be for a lack of effort on anyone's part, nor will we feel we've failed. Ultimately, GOD ALONE KNOWS!
To give a greater opportunity for the potential of summer camps, we've taken all Kid's Camps in June and moved them into the middle of the Teen camping season in July. We understand that even if the best case scenario unfolds, not everyone will be able to be a part of a July Kid's option. This move means that the first camp of the summer would be Family Camp, starting in late June. If we're given that opportunity to gather as families, we understand that there would also be many added restrictions. Together with the Presbyters, we'll weigh the options and make a decision regarding Family Camp no later than May 29th.
The Kid's Camp committee met on Friday and voted unanimously, if given the opportunity, to have two sessions of MN Kids Camp. As pastor Chris said, "We are fighting for that opportunity as long as we have a safe option to meet." The first session would be Mon-Thurs, July 13-16, and the second session would be Thurs-Sunday, July 16-19. Youth Camps would meet the week prior to Kids Camps, and also the two weeks following Kids Camp. We will continue to monitor progress in MN regarding the virus, and pay close attention to the restrictions from our Governor and the CDC. The Presbytery board will again weigh the options and make a decision regarding the feasibility of age-graded camps no later than May 29th.
