It was a warm day on Kerr, but as always there's always someone that catches them.............

For a 2nd time this year, in a row we might add, Steve Brown and Ray Glass took home the win with 16.33 and also had Big Bass honor's with a 5 lb even stud. In addition to their winnings, they also collected an additional $1000 for Ranger Cup.

Finishing in 2nd place was Matt Psencik and Joe Moon with a weight of 13.94.

Coming in 3rd was Russell Rogers and Chris Jones with 13.77.

Rounding out last place in the money in 4th was Dan Franklin and Mike Emmert with a weight of 12.73.

So, with one tournament left for the year, the AOY standings are left in a tight race. Steve Brown and Ray Glass have taken over AOY going into this last tournament, but there are a few teams well within striking distance to make this last tournament of the year very interesting. Summary of leaders for AOY, Big Bass, and Big Bag of the Year are listed below.

AOY--Steve Brown/Ray Glass
Big Bass of the Year--Roy Asher/Tim Haddick
Largest Bag of the Year--Dwayne Pscheir

See everyone August 22 at Clear Creek!!!!!

[07/17/20]   Barling Boat Tournament Anglers,

Tomorrow is our Kerr tournament coming out of Applegate, and we will be fishing from safelight to 2 PM, not 3 because of the heat.

Also we want to remind anglers about fish care and keeping your fish alive with chemicals and ice, and you are only allowed to weigh in 1 dead fish, if you have any that die.

Tight lines and see everyone tomorrow:)

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the store or one of the tournament directors.

Congratulations Steve Burton on your new Ranger RT198P!

Congratulations Steve & Lisa Hurst on your new Ranger RP223FC!

Someone’s ready for SPEED!

Well it was a cool, tolerable day for most of the day Saturday, contrary to the meteorologist initial forecast. With that, we seen numbers of limits caught, and reports of it just being a fun day of fishing, even though the bigger fish didn't cooperate as much.

With that, we want to congratulate Steve Brown and Ray Glass with their 1st place finish Saturday with a weight of 16.83. Also with their win, they'll collect a $1,000 from Ranger Cup.

Coming in 2nd place was Bobby Ammons and Tim Maxell with a weight of 16.06.

Following in 3rd was Jobie Adair and Bryan Taylor with a weight of 14.87, and they also had Big Bass of the tournament with a 5.19 largemouth.

Closing out the money payout in 4th place was Roy Asher and Tim Haddick with a weight of 14.24.

AOY, Biggest Bag of the Year, and Big Bass of the Year are as follows at this point of the year after this tournament: (spreadsheets attached)

AOY: Ryan and Bob Stinchcomb
Bag of the Year: Dwayne Pscheir/Bartell
Big Bass of the Year: Roy Asher and Tim Haddick

Our next tournament will be at Kerr Lake out of Applegate on July 18. See everyone then!!!!!!!!!!

[06/17/20]   Reminder to all our Barling Boat Tournament Trail anglers that this coming Saturday is the scheduled Eufaula tournament out of Hwy 9 south boat ramp.....safelight to 3 pm, with a 5 fish limit.

With these details, we want to remind anglers on a few tips for fish care with this hot weather upon us now to prevent any fish kills and keep our live release at weigh-in at a max:

-keep plenty of ice in the boat to keep your fish cool throughout the day
-keep fish supplements with you and add as needed (Rejuvenade, G-Juice, Please Release Me, etc.)
-keep livewell's/oxygenator's running as much as possible
-with all these point's in mind, to keep your cool water and supplements in the livewell, and livewell's/oxygenator's running, leave livewell's on recirculate pattern's after initial fills and don't pump hot water late in the day from the lake onto your fish, as it could be detrimental to them with oxygen loss/shock, especially with an algae bloom reported at the lake also.

With all this said, please remember only 1 dead fish can be weighed with your bag, and a 1 lb penalty is assessed with the weighing of a dead fish.

Also, with accordance of the CDC/state laws/precautions/recommendations, please remember social distancing, and during weigh-in, we will call out teams/boat numbers for teams to come weigh their fish in and to accommodate social distancing concerns/recommendations.

We hear the fish are biting though even with all this heat and we're ready.

See everyone Saturday!!!!!

It was a tough tournament for the Barling Boat Sales 3rd tournament of the year at Lake Ouachita yesterday. But as always, there's always teams that find fish.

Congratulations to team Stinchcomb for their 1st place finish with a weight of 11.75. They also qualified for Ranger Cup, so they'll collect an extra $1000 for owning a Ranger boat.

Finishing right behind in 2nd place was Steve Roberts and Will Eckelhoff with a weight of 11.46.

3rd place fell to Larry Ray and Larry Daggett with a weight of 10.69.

Rounding out 4th place was Steve Brown and Ray Glass with 9.90.

Big Bass honors went to the team of Larry Dean and Chris Arnold with a 5.28 brute.

In end of the year standings, the team of Ryan and Bob Stinchcomb took over AOY after this tournament. Dwayne Pscheir holds on to the largest bag of the year and the team of Asher/Haddick maintain big bass of the year.

Our next tournament will swing to Oklahoma and we will be at Lake Eufaula on June 20th out of Hwy 9 landing. See everyone then!!!!!

We made a mistake and corrected it.................here are the corrected results for the Tenkiller tournament and the current AOY standings.................our apologies.

The 2nd tournament of the Barling Boat Sales tournament trail is in the books. Tenkiller kicked out numbers of keepers as always.

Congratulations to Dan Franklin and Mike Emmert for taking the top spot in this one with a good bag weighing in at 18.41.

Right behind them was Steve Roberts and Will Eckelhoff for 2nd place with 17.79. Doc and Will also had Big Bass of the tournament with a 4.61.
3rd place went to Russell Rogers and Chris Jones with a weight of 16.48.
Larry Dean and Chris Arnold took the honors of 4th place with a bag weighing in at 16.47.

Once again, congratulations to all the winners. Also, reminder that our next tournament @ Lake Ouachita will be on Sunday, May 31.

Also, congratulations to Russell Rogers and Chris Jones for taking over in the AOY race.
Also Roy Asher and Tim Haddick still hold Big Bass for the year, and Dwayne Pscheir still holds on to the Largest Bag of the Year.

See everyone in 2 weeks @ Lake Ouachita!!!!!

[05/18/20]   Barling Boat Sales Tournament Anglers,

Update for Lake Ouachita makeup tournament scheduled for May 30:

Because of this tournament being a makeup tournament, and to accommodate anglers that had date conflicts for Saturday May 30 as previously scheduled, we have moved this tournament to Sunday May 31. We are still coming out of Shangri La from safe light to 3:00 pm.

If you have any questions feel free to contact us or one of the tournament committee members.

[05/12/20]   UPDATE:

Barling Boat Sales Tournament Anglers,

As stated this morning, Tenkiller is a go for this Saturday..........

But we just got confirmation from the Corp of Engineers, and our makeup tournament for Lake Ouachita will be May 30, safe light to 3:00 pm, takeoff and weigh-in going out of Shangri La boat ramp.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us or one of the committee members.

[05/12/20]   Barling Boat Sales Tournament Competitors,

Just a reminder, we are a go for Saturday’s tournament @ Tenkiller coming out of Chicken Creek, and we couldn’t be more ready. Everyone will be notified from one of the tournament directors of their takeoff number before Friday.

Also, the makeup date for the Lake Ouachita tournament has been picked, we are just waiting on the Corps to get back with us on permit approval. As soon as approval has been given, we will post the date and let everyone know.

Can’t wait to see everyone Saturday and get back to doing what we all love to do. Tight lines everybody!!!!

[04/30/20]   Barling customers/tournament anglers,

After staying in contact and speaking with the Corps, our tournament scheduled for May 16 at Tenkiller out of Chicken Creek is a go. Also the rest of our schedule slated for the rest of the season as scheduled should be good to go also.

As for the Lake Ouachita tournament that was postponed, we will make an announcement on the new date for the makeup on this tournament by the Tenkiller tournament. We are still trying to work with the Corps on a permit there, and as soon as we know something and set a date, we will let everyone know.

We pray and hope everyone has been safe and in good health during these trying times, and happy and ready to get going with the rest of the season and see everyone again doing what we all love to do.

If you have any questions at all, feel free to contact us at the dealership or one of the committee members on the flyer.

[04/08/20]   To our valued customers/tournament trail anglers,

Do to the Covid-19 pandemic, the next Barling Boat Sales tournament slated for Lake Ouachita next weekend (April 18) will be postponed till further notice. We do plan on rescheduling this tournament and any other tournaments we may be forced to postpone because of the ongoing CDC requirements/restrictions concerning Covid-19.

All teams will be notified by one of the tournament committee members.

We hope and pray everyone is staying healthy and safe, and hope to see everyone back on the water when this is all over.

If you have any questions, issues, or concerns, feel free to contact us or one of the committee members.

The first tournament of the season is in the books, and Dardenelle showed out, to say the least.

Congratulations to Dwayne Pschier on the impressive bag he brought in that weighed 22.21 to take the win.
Finishing 2nd was Steve Brown and Ray Glass with 18.96. Taking 3rd was Jobie Adair and Bryan Taylor with 18.38.
And finishing in 4th place was Ryan and Bob Stinchcomb with 18.02.
Taking Big Bass honors was the team of Roy Asher and Tim Haddick with a 5.61 big girl.

Our next tournament will be April 18th @ Lake Ouachita.

We have received calls, texts, questions concerning if we will be having the next tournament. As of right now, we are confident and 99.9% sure that we are good to go. There will be changes coming as far as ramp location and other details, as we are still sorting and detailing this out, but Lake Ouachita should be a go as planned on April 18th. Please stay tuned for the details, and all teams will be contacted and notified when details are finalized for this next tournament. Ouachita should be on fire.

Everyone,

Just a reminder to everyone that Saturday is the first tournament of the season. If you haven’t got your entry fee’s paid yet, be sure to get them in by Friday to Barling Boat Sales.

There are changes for this tournament to accommodate the issues that have arose as of right now involving the Covid-19 virus.

With everything going on right now, this first tournament on Dardenelle will be a trailering tournament, and the weigh-in will not be happening at Shoal Bay, but out of Dublin. For this trailering tournament, you may put in on any concrete accessible ramp on the DARDENELLE/ARKANSAS RIVER NAVIGATIONAL POOL ONLY. Furthermore, any water a team puts in/fishes, must be accessible by boat as if we were having a normal takeoff out of Shoal Bay only, as first planned.

Teams fishing will be required to text or call one of the tournament committee members listed below before the 7:15 start time to notify them what ramp they are putting in at so that all teams can be accounted for at end of day/end of weigh-in for obvious safety reasons.

Teams may not make their first cast till 7:15 am, but are allowed to sit on their first fishing spot till said time of tournament beginning. All teams, whether it is by boat, or by trailering to Dublin to weigh their fish, you must be checked in by 3:00 pm. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Also, reminder to everyone per rules, especially with this being a trailering tournament, all teams are subject to a polygraph test no matter the finish. NO EXCEPTIONS!

With everyone looking for something to fish, and all the rewards in place, now's the time to join and fish with a great group of anglers.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact any of the tournament committee members or the dealership itself.

Everyone, as of this coming Saturday, we are 4 weeks away from the season opener for the Barling Boat Sales Tournament Trail at Lake Dardenelle. Be sure to swing by the dealership and get your entry turned in.

Reminder, Ranger Cup is up to $1K this year, we're TAG certified this year, Breeden Dodge is giving a $1K for anyone winning out of a RAM truck bought through them, ORR Auto Park is donating $3K (split 3 ways, biggest bass of the year, biggest sack of the year, and most total overall weight of the year), Bass Cat Rewards is in this year, and we are planning on giving away another Ranger Boat at the championship.

If you have any questions on details feel free to contact us anytime.

We can't wait to get this season started!!!!!!!!

Everyone, Gellco Outdoors just down the street from us is having their spring hunting and fishing sale Friday and Saturday, but also on Saturday Barling Boats will have someone there with a handful of new 2020 Ranger Boats, with different sizes and models to accommodate any fishing enthusiast. Come by and say hello, and check out some of the new lineup from Ranger and what they have to offer. See everyone Saturday!!!!!

So we've already had teams start signing up, but wanted to make an update to the schedule/flyer....................

We made the mistake of planning the Tenkiller tournament originally on Memorial weekend...........so we have rectified that mistake and moved it to the weekend before, May 16, not May 23 as originally planned/posted. If you have any questions or concerns, contact us anytime or anyone on the flyer listed.

We sincerely apologize for the mistake but believe this suits everyone for the better...............

We appreciate everyone involved and can't wait for the year to get started. :)

Alright everyone, the 2020 Barling Boat Sales Tournament Team Trail is set and ready to go!!!!!!!!!!!!

This flyer is subject to change, as the details within also are, but we are still working with some other potential sponsors to better this trail for the year...................but as can be seen, Ranger Cup has been upgraded to $1000 to the winners if they are Ranger Cup qualified, we are TAG certified now, Breeden Dodge is involved this year, and Bass Cat money is in the pot also.

Also, plans are still being finalized on the championship, but the plan is to give away a boat again in the championship this year.

Further details/changes coming soon...............we wanted to let everyone know what the schedule is and what we have so far coming for 2020, and it's looking to be a fantastic year for this trail.

Call anyone on the flyer or here at the dealership, or swing by and see us for more details or if you have questions.

Tight lines everyone and we can't wait for the season to start:)
