[03/05/14] After a long conversation with a friend yesterday, I want to reiterate how important estate planning is for EVERYONE. Having a will drafted is great, but what about documents that prepare your family for incapacitation? Who makes decisions for you if you are unable to make them for yourself? Stroke, coma, even a bad car accident that requires a long hospital stay... these are unfortunate incidents that I hope you never experience, but they are circumstances that you can plan for regardless. I'm happy to help you come up with a plan that works for you! 785-0123 for questions or appointments.
[03/03/14] Our office will be opening later this morning. If you have an appointment with me today, please call the office first to make sure I'm there. If you cannot make it due to the icy roads, we are happy to reschedule for you. Be safe today!

[01/29/14] I truly enjoy practicing law on this side of the state. Today I called a judge's office in a smaller county to ask how the judge would prefer I proceed on a technical matter... He took the phone from his secretary, answered my question, and then gave me his cell number in case I had any issues in the future. Daily work life is so much more pleasant with friendly local attorneys and judges!
[01/27/14] I'm back in the office today after spending Friday at the Mid-Year Bar Meeting as a member of the House of Delegates. It is such a rewarding experience to be involved with our bar association on the state level, and I love hearing all the ways our lawyers are supporting each other and our communities.

I worked on this case as an extern with the Arkansas Supreme Court during law school. The facts are tragic and difficult to swallow, but it's great to see the progress they've made.
