✔️ Referrals
✔️ Coffee

And yes, in that order. 😉

When searching for a new home, what is the aspect of the home you focus on most: The interior or exterior? Why is that?

This quote couldn’t be truer. ❤️ Where is your dream home? Is it the same place that you live in right now?

Since it’s the month of love, nothing says “I love you” more than some sweet, delicious, and cute thumbprint cookies! Best of all, they don’t take a lot of effort but taste like you slaved away in the kitchen. 😉

✔️2 cups all-purpose flour
✔️ ½ tsp. Baking powder
✔️ 2 tbs. Almond milk
✔️ ½ tsp. Salt
✔️ ¾ cup margarine, softened
✔️ ½ cup sugar, or sweetener of your choice
✔️ 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
✔️ ⅓ cup assorted jams for the filling
✔️ Optional: Powdered sugar

1. Preheat the oven to 350 F/177 C and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk flour and salt together. Set aside.
3. Add softened margarine, sugar, vanilla extract, and almond milk to another bowl and mix.
4. Slowly add in the flour/salt mix and combine until a dough is formed. Be careful not to over-mix.
5. Scoop out a half tablespoons worth of dough and roll into a smooth ball. Place all dough balls about 1 ½ inch apart.
6. Make the indent by using your finger (the “thumbprint” mark). Fill each indent with jam, but be careful not to overfill.
7. Bake for about 13-15 minutes or until barely lightly golden.
8. Remove from the oven and let them cool for 5-10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack. Optional: Dust with powdered sugar.

Are you aware of the truth behind mortgages, or have you believed any of these top #MortgageMyths?

Here’s your chance to test what you know:

MYTH 1️⃣: Getting pre-qualified is the same as getting pre-approved.
Nope! Pre-qualified means you took a couple minutes to fill out a questionnaire about your financial situation. However, getting pre-approved takes much longer and involves a lender to analyze your financial status. It must be completed before you purchase a house.

MYTH 2️⃣: I need a credit score of at least 600 to purchase a property.
Actually, the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) requires a score of 580. And you can also use a co-signer to help with your chances of being approved. However, your home buying process will be much easier if you do have a good credit score, so try to still be diligent about payments and loans!

MYTH 3️⃣: You need to put 25% down on a house.
While this was true years ago, in today’s era, you can get a loan for as little as 5%. Or, if you qualify for an FHA or Veteran’s Administration (VA) loan, you could pay as little as 0% to 3.5% down.

What do you get when you collaborate with a #RealEstateAgent?

More than the recommended daily amount of drive, passion, determination, kindness, patience, and A LOT of caffeine. ☕

What’s the end result? One amazing home that you love. 🤩

Are you looking to become a homeowner, but don’t know where to start? Follow these simple steps to get you started:

Step 1️⃣: Save for a down payment. You can do this by determining how much you’re going to put down. After that, start cutting out non-essential expenses, sign up for automated savings, use cash-back rewards, and refinance any other loans you have.

Step 2️⃣: Know your credit score. This will be essential for getting pre-approved and determining your mortgage rates.

Step 3️⃣: Get pre-approved. It’s best to get pre-approved even before looking for a house. This will keep you one step ahead of the competition because the seller can see you are already deemed a trusted buyer.

Step 4️⃣: Hire a real estate agent. Real estate agents can help you find houses, do competitive research, negotiate prices, use their network, and much more!

So… what’s your status? If you couldn’t tell already, this page is all about real estate and so it’s safe to assume “in love” is the most appropriate here. 🤣

If the next event penciled into your calendar is #ClosingDay, then congrats! 🎉 Getting to closing day often can feel like an impossible feat. So you definitely deserve to kick up your feet and celebrate the huge accomplishment!

💭 Did you know? You can borrow from your 401(k) to finance your home purchase!

While not necessarily the first option you should turn to, it can be done.

According to, it’s best to borrow from your 401(k) rather than withdrawing from it. Even though you will have to pay yourself back, taking out a loan typically won’t incur early withdrawal penalties or necessitate income tax on the amount taken out.

Do you find yourself coming home every day, wishing you had just a little bit more space to kick up your feet and relax?

What’s holding you back from calling your real estate agent to do exactly that?

It’s time that you finally stop settling and find a space that works with your lifestyle. 🏠 🙌

Investing in a home can be an intimidating thought, but trust that your bank account (and future self) will thank you later. 👍

Though it’s tempting to wait for that “perfect” moment to start something, the truth is: there’s no moment like right now.

Happy #MLKDay, everyone!

Have you visited a place that made you feel rejuvenated and inspired? A place where you would love to go back to ASAP? ✈️

While traveling every day to that location may not be feasible, you can still bring that feeling into your own home.

Your home is a sanctuary and should inspire you every day — like your paradise getaway. 🌴

This could mean adding textures and patterns that are typical of that area, decor pieces you saw often, and colors that you loved while visiting.

Are you a buyer trying to navigate a seller’s market? It can be a difficult and confusing process, so here are some steps you can follow to find your dream home.

Is there anything missing from this list that you would add? 👇

Though there are trends that definitely should stay in the late ‘90s/early 2000s (like frosted tips), shelf organizers are not one of them!

Pantry like it’s 1999 and use items like woven baskets, vases, and ceramic cups to organize your pantry. As an added bonus, your pantry will look aesthetically pleasing! #WinWin 🙌

If you stepped into a home and saw 1 feature that makes you instantly turn the other direction, what would that feature be?

For example, is it bright pink flooring and wallpaper? Is it not enough floor-to-ceiling windows? Or is it a huge fixer-upper?

If every real estate agent had a dollar for every time they were asked, “Is this the year to buy a house?” they wouldn’t need commission anymore! 🤪

In all honesty, while there is no way to make predictions for real estate, standing on the sidelines definitely won’t help you reach your dreams. Don’t wait any longer, let’s chat today.👍

It’s finally a #newyear, and there’s no doubt that everyone is hoping for a stronger year than last. 💪

Are you in the process of searching for your next home, but don’t know how to start? Here are the top 3 tips on how to properly house hunt:

1️⃣ Get pre-approved for a mortgage. While this may seem “too early” it’s actually essential if you want to speed up the transaction process. Sellers will see that you are a trusted buyer, be more willing to negotiate, and you can get the keys to your dream home quicker!

2️⃣ Make a list of your non-negotiable must-haves. This will help you focus your search and negotiate because you know exactly what you’re looking for.

3️⃣ Start online. Nowadays, people are selling more and more online. Doing preliminary research online will help you save time.

Do you have other tips to add?

What are your top 3 New Year’s #Resolutions this year? Drop them down in the comments and see if anyone chose the same goals as you! 👇

A new month calls for a new monthly to-do list. Don’t have one prepared yet? Try these three on for size:

1️⃣ As saddening as it is every single year, it’s time to take down the holiday decorations. But you can still have fun with decorations by keeping a wintery theme.

2️⃣ Create a home expense budget sheet for 2021 so that there are no surprises. This will also allow you to plan accordingly for any big plans/expenses for the year.

3️⃣ If it’s time to move out, call your real estate agent! There’s no better time than now to start looking towards the future.

January is often called the longest month of the year — but it doesn’t have to be with a trusted #realestateagent!

Get in touch today and watch January fly by — before you know it, you’ll be in your dream home! 🏠❤️

Happy #NewYearsDay! 🎉

Some people say New Year’s resolutions are cliché, but they can still be a great way to get your head in the right mindset. Especially for setting your intentions for the new year.

What are some of your goals for this year? 👇

In #RealEstate talk, a party is a sold house. 😂 The truth is, there’s nothing quite like seeing the delight on new homeowners’ faces as they receive the keys to their new home! It’s a real gift.

This just in: The #DesignTrend of the year is shiplap! What is #shiplap? 🤔

The style of shiplap got its name and inspiration from ships. The overlapping joints are what made shiplap so great for boats — it was tight and waterproof. This is why it also became popular in regions with harsh climates.

Even if you’re not constantly battling with the elements, shiplap can add a charming look and feel to your home.

Vertical shiplap can make any room look taller, and the bold lines and handcrafted look makes it incredibly versatile.

Have you installed shiplap in your home? 👇

📚 Definition time! Today’s lexicon is “down payment”.

A #DownPayment is a portion of the house purchase price that you pay out of pocket. This is a way to finalize the transaction, and it comes before any loans are taken out to finance remainder payments.

With new seasons often comes new hobbies. What is your favorite #hobby to do during the winter? Or what do you hope to pick up as a hobby this season? 👇

#HappyHolidays to everyone! Hopefully, your holiday is full of joy and love. What holiday tradition are you most looking forward to? 👇
