After last night's super moon things are bound to get dark so make sure you're ready with some Reef eScape Torches and some incredibly bright corals! These Indo Gold Torches, Blotchy Hammer, Blotchy Bubble, and Green Polyp Purple Toadstool are just a few of the corals we have in stock that are guaranteed to light up your tank! Clearing quarantine in a few weeks, they won't last long once they hit the frag tank but we have TONS of other great corals that cleared our quarantine process last week to keep you busy if you miss out!

At Reef eScape we are not just about saltwater, we also have a soon to be expanded freshwater section and as you have come to expect, fully quarantine all of our fish before allowing you to take them home. Closing early today due to the weather, we'll be open again tomorrow for Valentine's Day!

Anyone interested in some free hermit crabs? These terrestrial hermit crabs were brought in by customers who did not realize that the online order they placed was actually for land crabs. We offered to take them in before finding out but decided to help out even after discovering what they are. Terrestrial hermit crabs are native to the Indo-Pacific, Western Atlantic, and Western Caribbean regions and live near seawater. They require both fresh and saltwater and venture into seawater to wet their gills and also release their young which spend their larval time in the ocean before venturing onto land to live out their lives. These omnivores can eat a prepared diet or you can also improvise and feed them raw foods (and even use some fish food once in awhile). If you would like to adopt some of these, let us know and we would be happy to give you one or two. While we are an aquatics store we can certainly help to provide you with the items you need to provide a good home for these animals. Please make sure that you can provide a good home for these animals before coming to get one as we want them to go to a great home!
