We wanted to post an update on Officer Shay Mikalonis' journey.

3 of us from Martinsburg PD will be doing a 50 mile ride on Tuesday the 12th, the day we should have been riding into DC. Was planning on riding here in Martinsburg, but if anyone is interested in joining us, could possibly meet somewhere in between. Let me know ASAP if you're interested. "We Ride For Those Who Died!"
Just wanted to share a still from the star number retirement Chicago did for our fallen officers. I had the distinct honor and privilege to ride with Ofc. Jimenez's name on my band and was able to present it to Mrs. Jimenez at the candlelight vigil. She still wears that blue band on her right wrist to this day. Wanted to again thank Maggie and the board, our motors this past year and EMS and all the folks who let us stop along the way. Excited to ride again in 2020.

Looking to make a video for Chapter IV. If anyone has photos or videos they would like to share (any year) email me at [email protected] -AJ
So glad to see everyone riding strong! Keep up the hard work for this most worthy cause. Some photos from Chapter IV on the first day of the ride are here:

Chapter Four is planning to proceed with our normal route, starting in Richmond Virginia and ending at the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington DC. However, COVID 19 and safety concerns for the riders may require modifications to the actual ride and or a virtual ride all together. Chapter four will be working with the national board of the Police Unity Tour and local agencies to ensure the safest option for all participants.

Regardless of the changes that may occur, all members are expected to raise the full amount of money required.

We are looking forward to everyone joining us again... to finish what we started on our 25th anniversary ride.
