Go team Madison Commercial!🎉On September 6th, 4 people from our office will be participating in an event called Over The Edge that involves rappelling down the side of Denver’s Hyatt Regency hotel, a 38-story skyscraper across the street from the Convention Center. All money raised goes directly to cancer research and patient services!

Our goal is to raise at least $7,500 collectively. All donations go directly to Cancer League of Colorado, a unique organization that is 100% volunteer based with no overhead or administrative costs. No paid staff. No rented/leased office space. Every dollar donated goes directly toward helping the cancer community!

In 2018, Cancer League awarded more than $1,180,000 in service and research grants. Most of the money goes to funding grant writing – the very expensive process of just applying for large, federal grants. On average, through funding grant writing, each Cancer League dollar is turned into $20 of awarded grants for research projects! What does not go directly to research or grant writing, goes to things like sending kids with cancer to summer camps or helping low-income patients obtain the care they need.

We all know someone personally who has had to fight the good fight against cancer and researchers are SO CLOSE to finding so many answers.
