Is everyone ready to win some yarn? I certainly hope so as I have a major stash to give away. Over the next 4 Saturdays I will be giving away a yarn collection by yarn type. Here is what you will need to let me know in order to enter and win. Comment on this post or by messenger;
Letting me know what type of yarn you like to work with.
What kind of project you would like to make with the yarn.
Will the yarn be used as a COVID-19 "survival project".
Watch for me later this afternoon around 3:30 from my crafting room. I will be showing off some of the yarn to be given away and my almost total hoard that I have accumulated. See you this afternoon!

My mini patio pond

Hey to all my friends and family! Hope all of you are doing well and staying safe! What are you all doing to past the time and focusing away from this invisible enemy? I’ve decided to crochet washcloths, garden and workout. Here is what I created today for my back patio. I still have an Egyptian water lily and a mini papyrus palm to put in as soon as those arrive in the next 7 days. Love you all and will talk again soon.

Just an FYI, All craft shows that have been scheduled through the end of April are cancelled. I'll update you when May comes around to see if shows will start up again. thank you!

[03/20/20]   To all my dear friends, this has been a trying time for all of us. Back in January before the Covid-19 came into play I made the decision to take a break and make changes that would streamline Creative Cowgirls and would be more manageable and less stressful. After much consideration on how to do this it was a tough decision to remove Yellowrose Crafting altogether both FB page and website. We are still here for you with daily posts, new products and yes, you can contact through messager if you would like to make a purchase or have any questions. We will post new items as they become available. Thank you all for your continued support! - Regina

Our Story

Howdy everyone! Regina and Dawn here with some exciting news for you this week. For those who are new to our site we are a mother/daughter online craft shop and vendors at shows around the San Antonio, Texas area. Sometimes we get up into the Texas Hill Country as well. I have been creating and selling children’s cloth books, quilts and afghans since 1997. In 2016 my daughter Dawn joined up with me creating beautiful jewelry and a few crocheted items. So the business went from Creative Cowgirl to Creative Cowgirls.

You can find our online store at: and our blogspot located at:

We are making some major changes to our items for 2018 moving forward. For those of you that have been following us for a long time Dawn and I feel you will be quite please with our new creations! We still have custom quilts, children's cloth books,knitted and crocheted items including afghans, dish and washcloths with additional creations.

Our transformation in what we now carry on top of our traditional will be nice complements to our existing inventory with only a few things going away such as jewelry which is being replaced with Dawn’s gorgeous and very creative purses and other cute crocheted items. For my items the quilts, afghans and cloth books are still available. The new highlight to my addition is a baby boutique and some unique maternity creations.

Please drop back by in the next few weeks to see our unique items that we’re sure will please!
