ROY G BIV Gallery is a nonprofit art gallery for emerging artists founded in 1989. ROY is accessible & the admission is free. COTA's #3, 6 & 9 buses will take you practically to our door, and there is free parking on nearby streets.
ROY G BIV’s programming enhances Central Ohio’s cultural landscape by exposing the public, through the artists’ work, to current modes of art-making and thinking. Artists chosen to exhibit at ROY G BIV Gallery receive constructive criticism and educational feedback from the public, the artists’ peers, eminent jurors, and the press. Inclusion in a ROY G BIV exhibition is often the opportunity that an emerging artist needs to begin to court commercial gallery representation. ROY G BIV supports neighborhood activities and arts groups, participates in Franklinton Fridays, hosts outside organizations in its gallery space, and collaborates with other arts institutions on events and promotional efforts. ROY G BIV invites you to become a part of this vibrant community organization: contact us at 614.279.7694 or [email protected].

ImageOhio has celebrated lens-based art in collaboration with the Fort Hayes Shot Tower Gallery for 21 years. Lens-based art is inherently rooted in our visual world, yet through this work we are able to see it in ways we have never experienced before. Since the advent of photography, artists have continually experimented and pushed the medium to new extremes – this exhibition is no exception. Featuring photography, videography, and new media works, ImageOhio demonstrates the widely diverse forms lens-based art can take.
The ability to create lens-based art has become much more widely accessible with the progression of technology, so ROY is proud to be able to present work from both emerging and experienced artists in ImageOhio. Showing art created by those with varying levels of expertise creates new and unique dialogues between artworks that may not have been accessible or evident otherwise. ImageOhio is thought-provoking, colorful, and gives glimpses into the worlds inhabited by the artists exhibiting their work.
Thank you Teresa Weidenbusch for extending hours at the Shot Tower Gallery to view ImageOhio Tuesday 3.23 and Thursday 3.25 from 3:00 - 6:30p Make an appointment [email protected]

The Art of Yoga
In correlation with the "Meditation on Color" Exhibit at ROY G BIV Gallery, we will be theming our classes over the next month to focus on the chakras, referring to the 7 primary energetic centers in our body. We will start from the root chakra and work our way over the month up to the crown chakra.
This Sunday and Monday's classes will have a focus on the grounding quality of the earthy Root Chakra. This chakra, associated with the color RED, is considered our foundation and is located at our pelvic floor. Through our yoga practice we will bring awareness to this energetic center and develop stability within our foundation.
Sunday, March 14 - 10:30am
Breathe. Flow. Connect.
A 75min. vinyasa style practice connecting breath and movement in a thoughtful and fluid way.
