*** PLEASE HELP: HUMANE CAT TRAPS NEEDED TO CATCH 3 MISSING FIV+ CATS IN COLUMBIA, PA! *** (Columbia Wagon Werks landlord Curt Reitz STOLE and DISCARDED beloved pets after lying - please read, share this post, and help us find our three missing furry family members! #CurtReitz #WagonWerks #ColumbiaWagonWerks #WagonWerksColumbia #ColumbiaPA) * * * We KNOW our three FIV+ indoors-only cats were thrown outdoors, along with a fourth FIV+ front-declawed 15 year old female (not declawed by us, FYI - she was a stray we rescued five years ago), on August 30 or August 31, 2017 by Curt Reitz, slum landlord of Wagon Werks Apartment Building. They are in the area of Wagon Werks Apartment Building at 920 Plane Street, Columbia, PA 17512. Many sightings by Columbia residents have been reported to us both online and offline. But because our cats are used to being indoors and are understandably terrified, we have not been able to catch them. * * * PLEASE help us by LOANING us HUMANE CAT TRAPS: we are happy to pick up and return them to you, or if you would be willing to set them out for us, that would be wonderful, too! We will provide laminated index cards with our names, cell #s, and email addresses, so that if a cat is trapped residents can call us right away. We will also provide food (sardines, tuna, and canned chicken) and familiar scents (used cat litter from the OTHER FIVE CATS CURT DUMPED AT THE HUMANE LEAGUE / OUTSIDE, as well as worn clothing from us humans - myself, my disabled husband, our 12 year old daughter, and our 11 year old disabled son). We are struggling financially and so purchasing traps ourselves is something we're not able to do - but we can offer collateral for loaners (I have a laptop, digital camera, tablet, cell phone; our daughter has offered her laptop and digital drawing tablet + stylus, etc...), and I promise your traps will be returned in pristine condition! (And if we trap other cats, we will release any with collars, and take others to the Humane League for microchip scanning. We also have an informal list of known neighborhood cats to release. And yes, we've been warned about the skunk!) * * * PLEASE help - we are desperate to find our three remaining furry family members: ASLAN is a brown ear-tipped male DSH tabby whose human is Alyssa, our 12 year old daughter - she spent months coaxing him out of a covered pet bed and successfully "rehabed" him into a semi-normal cat. FREYJA is a dilute tortoiseshell-tabby (lightly-colored tortoiseshell pattern with faint stripes - light gray, white, a bit of very light brown and very light orange) DMH female whose human is me, though our autistic 11 year old son also enjoys holding her. ODIN is a solid black with the exception of a few white hairs on the chest, male DSH whose human is my husband. * * * *** ALL THREE ARE FIV+, ON MEDICATIONS, AND MUST BE INDOORS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! *** * * * If you can help with humane cat traps for our three missing FIV+ cats in Columbia, please message me! Thank you so, so, so much! (And if you know of specific organizations or people I can contact to ask for help with traps, please share that, too! Thank you!)
If anyone is able, please consider signing up to take my parents a meal while my dad recovers from his surgery. Thank you so much in advance.

Making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. The Columbia United Methodist Church was formed by the consolidation of three United Methodist Churches at Fifth and Walnut Streets in 1992.

First United Methodist Church at Second and Cherry Streets, the earliest Church, began in 1803; Salome United Brethren began in 1860; Cookman United Methodist at Sixth and Chestnut began in 1876. The Lead Pastor at CUMC is Reverend Tom Grubbs. There are two services on Sunday morning; Contemporary with a praise band at 9:00AM and Traditional with a chancel choir and organist at 11:00 AM. Sunday School is offered for all ages groups at 10:05 AM. The CUMC outreach programs make the church available to many organizations including the Columbia Senior Center, Weight Watchers, AA, Community Life Network, Careerlink, various scouting units for boys and girls, Chamber of Commerce, etc. CUMC is fully handicapped accessible including an elevator to access the basement, fellowship hall, kitchen and Sunday School classrooms. Mission statement: "The CUMC is passionately committed to proclaiming God's Word, growing in the love of Christ, and using our gifts and talents to serve God in our church, community and the world." Our goal is: "Making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world."

What all Pastors are dealing with right now:

Fire 7 Tablet (7" display, 16 GB) - Black

It has come to my attention that some of our older congregation cannot view our weekly worship services because they do not have computers. I am looking to get five to ten of amazon fire tablets for them to use. Each one cost $50. I am looking for individuals who would purchase one or more of them or donate a contribution to help purchase them. If you have any questions let Pastor Tom know.
