clintonherald.com The Veteran of Foreign Wars of the United States is a national association of men and women who as soldiers, sailors, marines, and airmen served this nation in wars, campaigns, and expeditions on foreign soil or in hostile waters.
Toys For Tots of Clinton County Iowa is asking you to join us in supporting the Marine Corps Reserve Toys-For-Tots program on Friday and Saturday, December 5th and 6th, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. We will be collecting toys and donations to support the children of Clinton County Iowa. Drop Off will be held at the Burkert Chiropractic, 1805 North 2nd Street, Clinton, IA 52732.
This campaign is to collect toys for needy children throughout Clinton County Iowa. Since 1947, Marines have fulfilled the dreams for millions of less fortunate children each Christmas. They do this by providing Christmas toys. A shiny new toy sends a message to a needy child that someone cares; that he or she hasn't been forgotten; that the magic of Christmas hasn't passed them by. You can help the Marines this year by dropping off a new, unwrapped toy during the collection drive at Burkert Chiropractic.
So come out and join Burkert Chiropractic, your local United States Marines, and the Toys-For-Tots of Clinton County Campaign for this fun and worthwhile event. All toys and dollar donations collected in Clinton County remain in Clinton County.
Remember: "EVERY CHILD DESERVES A LITTLE CHRISTMAS."
The 2014 Toys For Tots Campaign is is full swing. Applications and Toys are coming in. We will be collecting toys up through the 15th of December. Applications for toy requests is next Friday December 5th. If you need toys for your children or know someone who needs toys please fill out an application as soon as possible. We are here to help.
