General information

What is Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and GIS? Photogrammetry is the art, science, and technology of obtaining reliable information about physical objects and the environment, through processes of recording, measuring, and interpreting images and patterns of electromagnetic radiant energy and other phenomena. Remote Sensing techniques are used to gather and process information about an object without direct physical contact. Geographic Information System (GIS) is an information system able to encode, store, transform, analyze, and display geospatial information.
