I responded to your Grave search and wonder if you have come across the name’s Alfonso Coronado and Luciano Coronado. My Grandfather and Great Grandfather. While doing a family tree, I discovered my Grandfathers are buried in Beeville. I have the burial lot number to one of them. I would appreciate any information. Thank you.

Operating as usual

One photo I didn't post yesterday....as a photographer, I'm always looking for an interesting capture.....so while out walking around in the Beeville Down Town district by the Bee County Courthouse, this scene captured my eye.....I don't think the gentleman was a POW, but the whole scene just brought out what I was trying to capture, the American Flag and the POW flag flying in the north wind with a soldier present. Hope you like it as much as I did making it. 🥰 This is a small rez photo post, the full rez is amazing. 🥰

11/15/20 ** Beeville Veterans Banners

Finally finished up today, had two I wasn't able to find on Sunday, guess I didn't walk far enough, but this completes all 89 banners. I'm sure you are as proud of YOUR Veteran as I am of my Veteran family

A few photos of Beeville Main Street. I've taken all but 2 photos of the Veterans Banners, I will attempt to get them finished up tomorrow. Thought I'd got them all, but 2 were missing, I think I know which ones, the wind was rough out there today, no excuse though, my apologies that they are not up yet. Have an awesome week

Working on photographing all the Veterans Banners (did 48 this morning 11/15/20) and I found this by the Bee County Courthouse, I thought it was pretty cool!! 😍

It has seen better days, but our little visitor came back yesterday, 11/10/20!! I was very happy to see it again. Gorgeous despite the frayed wings. 🥰

11/11/20 * Veterans Day at SMACS

Trying to be a bit creative at work for Veteran's Day 🥰

Gorgeous "White Peacock" Butterfly....had about 8 of them flying around the Mist flowers.

I like backlighting my captures, this Gulf Fritillary really looks pretty. I haven't calibrated my monitor, so it might look a little dark. 🥰

So we only had 2 Trick or Treaters last night, along with Pinky, the Mail Carrier earlier, that was a "win" cause the last few years we've had none. Dracula's bride came by first and about an hour later Dracula showed up. Pretty cool that it turned out that was. I gave some to my new neighbor, he and his family were tired after moving in. He was still moving his stuff in at 9pm last night. Poor guy, he was working hard. Lent him a flashlight cause it was dark last night, even with the full moon. ☺️

A "doctored" Blue Moon, it was fun to do....the real moon next to it, no doctoring, just post editing.....first full moon on 10/31 (Halloween) since 1944, 76 years ago. Next full moon on Halloween will be in 2039.....wow!! Enjoy it NOW folks!! Camera specs: Canon 7D Mark II with Canon 500mm 4.0L Lens (no adapter); On Gitzo Tripod with a Wimberly Gimbal mount; 1/320 sec; f18; ISO 400; Manual; Center weighted-Average metering.

My first Monarch of the Fall season...it was huge, not a Soldier or Queen, it was a Monarch.....awesome to see. Flew off when I tried to get it from behind. 🥰

My first Tricker-Treater of the day, Pinky our Mail Carrier, she looked absolutely precious. 😍 I'll have a limited amount of bagged Halloween candy if anyone would like to stop by this afternoon. Some of my close Beeville friends know where I live, so come on by. Will have the candy out front, I'll be practicing social distancing, but if you want a photo of your child so I can post here (only if you want) let me know, I'll take a photo. 😍 s

Autographing books 🥰😇The landowner wanted her books signed by me. I'm honored.

A Queen visiting our garden!! Such an honor!! 🥰👸

Barnhart Q5 Ranch and Nature Retreat; September 2016. If you ever want to see a ton of hummingbird at one place, this is the place to be. Especially in the Fall...Claire Barnhart & Wilfred Korth make sure they have gallons of sugar water waiting for them. This was taken at the Hummingbird Cottage of the ranch. Love it there!! One section of the cottage was full of Turks Cap and the birds love them!!

I have a little "blonde" hummingbird "fan" 😍 by the name of Janna and she took the time to draw me a picture for my refrigerator. Isn't this precious?? She is very creative and I tremendously appreciate the time she took to create this, she is 4 years old. 🥰 Thank you Janna. 😍

Gottem both, they are really pretty!! Look at those eyes!! 🥰 Blush Conchylodes (salamisalis) Moth

Blush Conchylodes (salamisalis) Moth decided the corner of our front door was a good place to "park" 😍 Kinda cool to see, camo'd with the color too!!

Soraya will be 15 soon, so this was a beautiful day to capture photos of her in her gown. Thank you Soraya for making this so much fun!!

Sneak peek, this young lady is turning 15 in a few day....wow, I'm getting old!! My great niece, yep "great" niece, that is really old on my part!!! Soraya, thank you for allowing me to take a few photos of your "Quinceañera" portraits, wish you could have done the whole ceremony, but I think we did great. Your precious God Mother did a fantastic job of finding you the perfect dress and extras for you. You looked so beautiful!! Thank you to your sis in law for the makeup and your mom for the help, such an awesome day!! 🥰🥰

Love this "memory" of an Indigo I was privileged to photograph 2016, I was prepping for the contest and just waiting to see what would come up. It literally "came up" to within focusing distance of my camera, so close, I lost the focusing on it. Hence the head was a little out of focus, but it was sooooo cool to be so close. These were taken at the Orsak Pond on the Barnhart Q5 Ranch & Nature Retreat in Berclair....Claire Barnhart & Wilfred Korth owners. I don't get to be in nature as much as I like, but when I do, it's an amazing experience. Enjoy it if you can. 🥰🥰 sylvia

Don't freak out, this is probably one of the most beneficial snakes in Texas and anywhere else you can find them. Blue Indigo snake, this one came down to drink water, spent about 5 minutes drinking then went hunting away from me. In the end, it came my way and slithered within 3 feet to my left, never saw me. Finally when I moved in for the second slightly blurred photo, it got wind of me and took off. I felt so blessed seeing it, cause I knew I'd be safe from a rattler!! :D Awesome critter!!!

Finally got one at the Firebush 😍 I’ve always been fascinated with Hummingbirds, I think many people I know have been too. They are very interesting critters to observe, very territorial, one bird will beat 10 away, even if there are 2 or 3 feeders with sugar water. Tough little flyers. NOTE: North American hummingbirds average around 53 beats per second in normal flight. Per:https://www.nps.gov/cham/learn/nature/upload/Hummingbirds-of-Chamizal_english.pdf .... That is a wowzer!! Not sure if folks realize it, the Aztecs considered the Hummingbird one of their Gods, here is a little history if you are interested.

"What’s in a Name?

The name Huitzilopochtli is composed of two Nahuatl words, huitzilin, and opochtli, which mean ‘hummingbird’ and ‘left’ respectively. Thus, the name of this god literally meant ‘Hummingbird of the Left (or South, as the Aztecs believed that the south was the left side of the world)’. Thus, it is of little wonder that Huitzilopochtli is artistically depicted as a hummingbird, though occasionally, he is also portrayed as an eagle. The hummingbird was an important creature to the Aztecs, as they believed that they were the reincarnation of dead warriors."

So, I finally finished my project for St. Mary's Academy Charter School. This was a labor of love for me. I have a great time photographing people as much as I do wildlife. I had done this with 4, maybe 6 images before, but never with 82 layers, so it was a learning experience and I really had fun with it. My bosses really like it and it was finally completed last night 09/11/20. We still had one missing, but she said go on and finish it up, she wouldn't be down for sometime, she's in SA. I can always add her at another time. I volunteered to do this since the school was not able to do a standard "group" photo due to the CV19 restrictions, so this was the next best thing. It was fun!! Enjoy, maybe the students next. Naw!!! 😍 #SMACS #stmarysacademycharterschool #SMACSbeeville

The bird swing is a "hit"!!! 🥰 The birds are using it!! #2020hummingbirdmigration #beevillehummingbirds #southtexashummingbirds #hummingbirdswing

Holá folks, finally had a few minutes to enjoy the Hummingbird migration. I've had more birds come to our feeders "ever"!! Have about 7 or 8 just having a great time with the sugar water. I had problems trying to figure out why there was no wing stoppage, so I kept kicking up the ISO, come to find out, my flash unit was facing up.....duh!!! 🤣🤣 Happens to the best of us. This one was after I'd lowered the unit. 🤩 I have a few good more that I've done today, but this is one I was happy with. Have a great weekend. 😍 #2020hummingbirdmigration #southtexashummingbirds #beevillehummingbirds #relaxingwithhummingbirds

My goodness.....poor thing, hoping they are able to save him/her

HAPPENING NOW ‼️
New Bald Eagle admitted just now from Crandon, WI. A family found him after he was sitting on their lawn and taking fish from them.
This bird is emaciated. His beak is broken and he has burns on his face and body. He is also covered in feather mites from being on the ground for so long. He was likely hit with a firework back from Fourth of July.
This is one of the many reasons why fireworks are so detrimental to our wildlife. Please be responsible.

A Cabbage Sulphur Butterfly at the SMACS Business Office garden. I don't carry my camera due to the humidity, so I sometimes use my cell phone to "capture" the moment. Not a great shot, but this is a "white" Sulphur, not a yellow, even though it looks yellow, my flash was too much, I guess. 🥰

Prancing deer 🥰🦌 Not a great photo, taken with a 100-400mm lens at a pretty good distance, but it was fun to watch these guys just loving the weather and playing tag. 😍 March 30, 2019, the weather was perfect for them 😍 Haven't been out much due to the extreme hot temps, but hoping the weather changes will be good and last awhile.

Be sure to check out the "drive by" Art at the Beeville Art Museum, it's pretty awesome....so many talented artists displayed!! 🥰

Since I can't share photos I took today, these are bees drinking water in September 2012, took me hours to find cause this little laptop is not conducive to speed. LOL 😅 Oh well, at least I have something, I'm thankful!!! Anyways, it's World & National Honey Bee Day, so here are my photos for the day!! 🥰

https://nationaldaycalendar.com/world-honey-bee-day-third-saturday-in-august/

It's so dry in South Texas even the Honeybees are looking for water!!! Wow!! God will bless us when He's ready!! So let's keep praying for rain....♥ s

Bees get thirsty too 🐝 this is the birdbath I have in our front yard, this is a morning cell phone photo of the bees drinking water, by afternoon there are probably between 30-50 bees drinking from here. They get a little antsy when I fill it back up, because by afternoon 1/2 of the birdbath is already drained from their drinking. I try to limit filling it up to the mornings, there are less bees. Glad I can help them a bit. 🐝🥰💖 The fire bush I have one the south side provides pollen for them too. 🥰 We need to care for the bees!! They are important to all!!
