Here are three tips to help you stop the emotional eating roller coaster:

1. Before you reach for food, take a 20 minute walk first. Getting outside and enjoying nature will satisfy the craving. πŸšΆπŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

2. Take five minutes to breath. Take a deep breath for four counts, hold for four and breathe our for four counts.

3. Drink a 20 ounce glass of water.

Eating healthy can be a challenge. I hear you! πŸ‘‚ There is so much information out there about how you should be eating. πŸ₯—πŸ₯πŸ₯•

Much of the data is conflicting, leaving many struggling to find the right path. πŸ€”πŸ˜“πŸ˜³

You are probably thinking things like this...

1. Eating organic is expensive.
2. Does eating organic really make a difference.
3. I don’t have time to eat healthy.
4. Do I have to be gluten and dairy free????
5. Should I do keto, paleo or low
carb ??

So MANY questions ?!?!?! ⁉️⁉️

I like to keep food as simple as possible, then dig deeper if the individual needs.

We were not meant to be on restrictive diets long term. Diets like AIP, keto, elimination, FODMAP, carnivore and others all have their place, however those restrictive diets should be temporary, not a way of life.

The goal of restrictive diets is to allow the individual to heal, then introduce more of a variety back in. And by that, I do not mean pop tarts, Cheerios, and Cheetos.

You can never go wrong with eating REAL food. Clean food grown, raised, and caught responsibly:

1. Veggies πŸ₯¬πŸ₯’πŸ₯¦πŸ₯•πŸ 
2. Fruits πŸ₯πŸ’πŸ‘πŸŽπŸ‹
3. Nuts and seeds
4. Healthy fats. πŸ₯₯🧈
5. Fish & seafood 🍀 🐟🦈
6. Legumes πŸ₯£
7. Animal proteins πŸ“πŸ¦Œ
