[10/27/15]   Ms. Shabanga was given $50 in April to help provide for her family. She now sells charcoal, dry fish, oil, salts, and condiments and is able to pay her daughter’s medical expenses and provide food for her family with the money she makes from selling. Check out our website to learn more about how you can help these women with living essentials #transformationtuesday

Actions speak louder than words. Let's plan to make a difference today.

[10/21/15]   We are kicking off our success stories with Asina Awezaye!
After Ms. Awezaye received $50 she began to sell cassava flour, corn, and dried fish. With the proceeds from her small business she paid school fees, purchased books, uniforms and supplies for all of her children, resulting in her daughter graduating from secondary school. Ms. Awezaye was also able to pay her medical expenses when she became ill. After covering her ongoing business expenses, she has a small savings of $6.00. Donate today and see how far your donation will go!

[10/20/15]   In March 2015, we gave $50 to each of the families we are helping in The Democratic Republic of Congo. Understanding the value of money and generating income for basic needs was the first step towards a brighter future for these families. Stay tuned for the success stories of these families so far and how only $50 can save their self-confidence.We will post our success stories each Tuesday!

In recent Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) news, militiamen raped over 100 women earlier this month. Throughout DRC history, rape has been commonly used as a weapon of war. For abandoned women in the DRC, they have nowhere to turn for help in rebuilding their lives and overall confidence. Please help the abandoned women of the DRC by raising awareness to their reality and sharing our page with your friends.
