URGENT: FOSTER HOMES NEEDED!

See these faces? These adorable, desperate faces? Every one of them will arrive at Save the Tails THIS SATURDAY, and they need fosters!

Tucker the lab, the adorable black and tan coonie, a little beagle, Rex a chihuahua, and Harper a border collie mix puppy are all hoping for a temporary place to stay while we look for a permanent adopter. We have no kennels and rely on you to temporarily house one of them.

We need YOU to help us save these dogs.

Still on the fence about fostering? Here are 8 great reasons to give it a try:

1. Fostering increases a dogs chance of getting adopted
2. Your own pets will learn more social skills.
3. You get to see if you’re ready to own another pet.
4. Fostering is temporary.
5. You probably already have the space for one more.
6. You can choose how to foster. Only want to foster adult dogs? Prefer to look after puppies? Can’t foster for more than a few months at a time? We can accommodate many of your requests.
7. Fostering keeps animals out of shelters.
8. You are saving a life.

If you love dogs and are appalled by our nation's shelter kill statistics (1.2 million dogs a year), this is your chance to make a difference — even for just one dog. You will be a hero for one special dog. Fostering is free and we loan you a crate and give you guidelines about what to expect for caring for your foster.
