Meet our instructor Lisa Quinn Adams
Lisa started teaching group exercise classes at the age of 16. With a degree in exercise science from Va Tech she has taught everything from step to yoga. Her passion for fitness, music and dance all meshed when she found pole dancing. Founding DivaFit in 2006 she grew the company and watched pole dancing explode in the area for 10 years. In 2017 she sold DivaFit in order to spend time with her teenage kids. Now that they are off to college Lisa is excited to dive back into teaching and is happy to become a part of the Aradia team.

One of the ways to stay motivated on your journey towards fitness is to approach your workouts with love for your body rather than hate. Appreciate where you are today in your body, coz we think you are pretty badass where-ever you are in your journey today

Aerial Restorative yoga! This Aerial Restorative Yoga workshop is designed to increase mindful stress reduction and relaxation. It utilizes silk hammocks hung low about 10 inches off of the ground to help and assist in holding the poses longer therefore focusing on relaxation and reduce stress. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Restorative Yoga will be limited in size as the postures are held in supportive positions with blankets, bolsters and other stress reducing elements requiring more attention and adjustment.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We will use gentle massage have special eye pillows to help the mind relax and come back to the present moment while the body is in a supported posture (asana).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The class will conclude with a guided meditation for stress reduction. try this class with your mom for a unique experience. Please wear leggings and sleeved tshirt. feel free to bring a blanket or two. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
