This weekend, “Lifesavers”, our Pro-Life Club at STCS, packed meals for 36 families for the Backpack Buddies Foundation of Loudoun. It was a big undertaking, and they did a great job!

We were very happy to host so many visitors at our Open House! Many hands came together to make it a successful event...the PTO (who provided treats!), faculty & staff, parent volunteers, Student Council members, and a small portion of our STCS Band and Chorus. A big "Thank You" to the helpers and to those who came out to tour our school!

The Outsiders and a Shakespeare parody?! What a fun way for our middle school students to start the day, with a visit and AWESOME performance by the PVI Players from @PaulVICatholic. A great Q&A followed the performance, with our students learning about Shakespeare – and what theater is like in high school. Thank you for the visit!

Thank you to Moorefield Fire & Rescue Company 23 for visiting STCS yesterday! Our 1st and 3rd graders participated in an excellent presentation on fire safety, and then had a close-up look at a fire truck (they even got to climb inside!). We learned a lot – thank you!
Outstanding presentation by Deputy Epple yesterday afternoon. The Middle School students were educated about cyber bullying, the dangers of inappropriate behavior on computers (including their phones) and preserving your online reputation. Thank you so much @Loudounsheriff !
Parents- please remember to go to one of the many Technology Safety/ Vaping Forums in the area. One of the biggest messages he stressed was that YOU pay your child’s phone bill, therefore you own that device. You absolutely should have access to everything on their phones. If you can’t see it, they should not be doing it! Check their phones regularly. It is for their own protection ❤️
STCS Celebrates Veterans Day!
Our annual Veterans Day celebration today started with an all-school Mass, followed by a program and reception hosted by our 5th grade students and sponsored by our PTO. What a wonderful way for our students to learn about veterans and their service! And it was a very special honor to have so many veterans join us for this event. Thank You to all who serve(d) -- and their families. You are in our prayers!

Fr. Willard celebrated our all-school Mass this morning, his final one before leaving St. Theresa parish next week. Afterward, students presented him with cards and well wishes. Thank you, Father, we will miss you!

Skating to Eliminate Cancer
Three STCS sisters skated in Scott Hamilton's SK8 to ELIMIN8 CANCER, raising funds for Ashburn 10-yr old Nick Shalin, who is battling cancer. Nick's mom is STCS alumna Katrina Reyes Shalin '01; his uncle and aunt are STCS alumni Ricardo Reyes '07, and Kassandra Reyes '09. Great job Thunder Runners! They all did an awesome job running the Lace Up For Learning 5K in Brambleton. STCS also took home the Spirit Award and a 3rd place school finish! 😳 Thank you to all of our parent volunteers and our Thunderbird mascot, with an especially big shout-out to Mrs. Dearmon and Mrs. Todd for their dedication to this club! 👏🏻
