Ladies’ Tuesday Morning Bible Study

Pastor Tyson will be leading the Ladies' Tuesday Morning Bible Study which will start back up this week. This group meets every Tuesday in the Library at 10:00 am and will be choosing their topic at their first meeting.

Pastor Dave Labuhn will be taking over the Monday evening Bible study which starts tonight. The group will be studying the LightLight series focusing on Ruth and Esther. This class meets on the first and third Monday of the month at 7:00 pm in the music room.

We hope to see the regular attendees as well as anyone new wishing to join a group!

Candlelight Service of Remembrance

On Sunday, December 22nd at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary, we will hold a candlelight service of remembrance. Please come to hear a message of hope and take this opportunity to remember and honor your loved ones.

Grace Place Children's Christmas Service-Arise and Shine
This Sunday, December 15th, at 9:30 am

This Sunday, the children in our Grace Place Sunday classes will lead the 9:30 am worship service. Our service message is "Arise and Shine" and the many ways we see that Jesus is the Light of the World. Our Sunday lessons have focused on these themes and we are excited to be the Reflective Lights that Jesus calls us to be in this world.

Gift for Pastor Mann-Scribing Party on Friday

Our gift is progressing along well and we are currently at 73% of committed Bible chapters. We only have 300 Bible chapters available to scribe so this Friday, December 13th, there will be a Scribing Party in the Library from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm for anyone interested in writing Bible chapters. We will have pizza and cookies as well as paper and pens and Bibles for everyone. Please bring your own drink!

Advent Services Begin This Week

Advent marks the first Sunday of the Christian calendar. Traditionally Advent is a time of preparation and getting ready for the birth of Jesus. Join us on Wednesdays
for a variety of Advent Services to prepare for the Christmas season.

Wednesday Advent Service will be held on December 4th, 11th, and 18th. All are welcome!

Parents, are you looking for a great excuse to go out on a romantic date away from the kids or to buy a few of those last minute presents? Look no further than Parents' Night Out at Our Savior's Way on December 7th, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, hosted by the OSWLC Youth Group. Pastor Mann will be retiring in January 2020, just a few months away. Our Savior’s Way would like to give Pastor Mann a gift that is just as big as his impact has been on us! As a congregation, we are going to handwrite a complete copy of the Bible and present it to him. This is a large project and we will only succeed if we all work together!

No Grace Place tomorrow, Sunday, November 24th - 2 year old's though high school - It's Family Worship Week!

Grace Place children will sing at the 11:00 am worship service with Open Arms children this Sunday. This is our Family Worship Week, where all families are encouraged to worship together. Plan on the 11:00 am service! We have been practicing "Dig Down Deep" all month and we are learning to be thankful. We hope you will attend!

College Care Package Donations Due Today!

Christmas cards are due back to OSWLC on November 24th. Thank you to all who have already participated.

Christmas poinsettia donations will be accepted for the next two Sundays. Please consider making a donation and honoring a loved one.

Only a few days left to help OSWLC reach our goal of preparing 300 Thanksgiving bags for those in need. Thank you to all who have already donated!

Your Help is Needed!

OSWLC is currently 100 bags short of our goal of packing 300 Thanksgiving dinner bags for Loudoun Hunger Relief. Items most needed include cranberry sauce/fruit, muffin mix, dessert mixes (cake mix & icing), potatoes, and stuffing.

Donations can be delivered to the church until 5:00 pm on Sunday, November 17th.

Please consider helping families in our area have a happy Thanksgiving.
