2019 Mosaic-Virginia Baby Bottle Campaign
The campaign runs through Sunday, Father's Day, June 16th

Only 6 days left!

Mosaic-Virginia is a nonprofit medical organization near Lansdowne that serves women and men facing unplanned pregnancies by meeting their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs from a Christian perspective. Mosaic-Virginia offers medical services, peer mentoring, educational opportunities, and a safe place to seek help. Because of community support, all services are offered at no cost. All client information is private and confidential.

Every year, Lutherans for Life at OSW supports this local pregnancy crisis center by participating in a baby bottle campaign from Mother’s Day through Father’s Day. You will notice boxes and baskets of empty baby bottles around the church building. Pick up a baby bottle and fill it with spare change, currency, and checks (payable to OSW, memo: Mosaic). When you bring the bottle back, you can place it in the offering plate during the service.

Grace Place Classes Take a Summer Break!

This Sunday, June 9th, will be the last meeting of our regular school year Sunday children's Grace Place. Again this summer we are encouraging families to use this break to worship together. Children may not truly have a sense of belonging to the family of God until the church becomes a child's place of worship. Nurture in both studying the Word of God and the act of worshiping together are both important in the faith formation of young and old alike. They learn how to worship as you model worship for them and help them engage in the parts of the service. Watch for tips and resources for worshiping together this summer.

See you in worship this summer!
