Loudoun Stampede is the Official Supporters' Club for Loudoun United FC. Our Mission is to support the community, soccer, and Loudoun United FC in Northern Virginia and beyond.
Operating as usual
When we look back on the 2020 Season, it’s easy to think that this wasn’t the finish we wanted or the end we felt we all deserved. It’s easy to focus on the negatives and look past the positives.
When the 2020 Season kicked off, we had plenty of reasons to be optimistic. A strong finish to the 2019 Season and a solid retention of core talent looked to be the recipe for, at the very least, a first playoff birth for the club. But the world had a different plan. COVID didn’t make anything easier, that’s for sure. It’s not easy gathering crowds of fans together when organized groups aren’t allowed. It’s not easy motivating groups of people to show up to a stadium when they’re still afraid of a virus that’s spread worldwide.
But when we look back, we choose to remember the good things that came out of the 2020 Season. We remember a massive road trip contingent back in March to Philadelphia that overwhelmed the home crowd. We remember raising money for local food pantries during the lockdown. We remember the first major sporting event in Northern Virginia & DC with a crowd since the pandemic restart. We remember the launch of the first Loudoun United specific podcast. We remember watching last years’ stars (@griffinyow, @m.nyeman, and @kparedes_7) becoming this years stars up in DC. @kairou_9_’s speed and @bdubs_19’s ball-skills. Simon Lefebvre’s stopping power and @casorto_’s cuts. And of course we remember seeing off our wonderful captain and leader, @peabito.
2020 wasn’t easy but there was still so much that made it memorable. Thank you all for helping bring light to the game and to SEGRA Field when it seemed like there was only darkness. Thanks for the continued support, love, and passion and we hope to have even more of it to give when all is said and done and we’re getting ready to kick the 2021 Season off.
Stampede On. Stampede Strong.
TIE-BREAKER REMATCH ALERT! Well, kinda... we tied Philly2 back in March and again at home last weekend. Now, we play them for a third and final time to break the tie! We well outplayed them down a man on Saturday so hopefully we can take home three points on our trip up.
Watch party will be at @loudounbrewing and kickoff is at 7pm on @espn+
It’s Home Game Day!! Philly2 come visiting to Segra Field and the boys have a chance for their first win at home this season! Come out and cheer them on, together!
Can’t calm down because it’s Game Day!! Who is going to be at the game tonight? Segra field, social distancing, summer evening air, and Loudoun United soccer! Kickoff at 6:30pm (sorry, still no tailgating due to COVID rules) against another team fighting for positioning in Group F!
And, as always, if you’re not comfortable joining in on the festivities in person then feel free to watch from afar on ESPN+!
#loudouncounty #supportersgroup #loudounbeer #uslchampionship
Another game day and another trip for the boys up to Dillon stadium to take on Hartford Athletic. So we thought what better way to watch than another watch party at Loudoun Brewing? Come join us at 6:30pm (kickoff at 7pm on ESPN+) to watch and cheer along and hopefully we can get three points back from them.
Two more wake-ups and we’re back at Segra field. And while the return is bittersweet, with limited fans and no fan-player interactions, we can’t help but be giddy about the idea of being back home again. With so much tough stuff going on in the world right now, it feels so good to have the prospect of being “back to normal” for 90 minutes. So we hope you’re excited too and, more importantly, we hope to see you there... even if it’s at a distance.

Hold on to your saddles folks because it’s GAME DAY! Last season’s Eastern Conference Champions and runners up in the USL Championship game will be hosting us in a brand-spankin’ new stadium! But we’re coming off of a strong Group F win and looking to surprise last season’s big dogs!
The Stampede will be hosting a viewing party at Solace Brewing Company again and kickoff is at 8pm (get there early!) and on ESPN+!

Well it may not be actual soccer but pretty cool of the USL Championship to set up a FIFA Co-Op eCup with players getting to play alongside fans. Loudoun United selected Stampede’s very own, @adammwdavis, as their fan player and will be representing the club with @allexonsaravia and @elvisamoh_takyi23 in the competition.
With the draw last week, it looks like we’re going to be playing with Denmark as our team and our first matchup is against the New York Red Bulls II side with Chile.
Good luck!! #usl #uslecup #loudouncounty @ Loudoun County, Virginia

Week 1 is finally here! The wait is finally over; Loudoun United FC heads north to take on local rival Philadelphia Union II . If you’re not heading north with us to Philly with the team, then we’ll see you at Blackfinn Ameripub - Ashburn at 7pm (first drink is free!).

With the season opener one mere wake-up away, I can’t help but be nostalgic of the wonderful first season that we had; thankful of this wonderful team, such great supporters, and our absolutely amazing county. Like a Stampede in the distance, moving ever-closer and louder, so too we have grown this offseason. With a new website, new members of the leadership team, and many more big things to come; the Stampede is ready to charge into the 2020 season headfirst. To those that have RSVP’d to join us on our first organized road trip to the season, we’ll see you all in the morning. And if you’re not able to make it then we hope you can join the Loudoun United Team and the rest of the Stampede at Blackfinn Ameripub - Ashburn.
So a final toast to all of those that helped pave the way in 2019; we’ll forever be grateful for bringing Loudoun County this professional soccer team. But now all eyes are on this new season, one that we feel will be an especially memorable one.
The Stampede wishes everyone a wonderful First Friday and last Friday before the season starts.

Looking back on @loudoununitedfc’s inaugural season, we at the Stampede can’t help but feel a sense of accomplishment and pride in our team, our community, and our new friends/family. Some games might have been forgettable but others will go down as storied moments in the history of this club. Some of those that still give us goosebumps are:
- @griffinyow scoring the first Loudoun goal against Memphis.
- our team’s first win against NYRB2
- the many nights spent under the lights at Audi Field
- our first real home game at Segra Field against Charlotte
- completing the sweep of NYRB2 with a 7-3 win
- winning our last 4 games of the season
Come tell us about your favorite moments of the season at our Post-Season Party at Bungalow Alehouse of Ashburn on November 15th from 7pm to 10pm.
