BCC is a church that seeks to find God's insights into the challenges that we face today. You will find a friendly group of people who believe that Christianity holds the insights to these challenges.
BCC has a vision of "Easy - Easy" in regards to Community outreach. It is easy to ask/invite and its easy to go. Our Annual Events consist of the following: Vacation Bible School Easter Egg Hunt Candlelight Christmas Eve Service
Mission: We are a Christ-centered church built on the Biblical principles of Salvation, Freedom, and the Ministry of the Holy Spirit, where home groups are an integral part of our Christian community. Our vision is to participate in Christ's redeeming work by bringing people to salvation in Jesus Christ and then leading them into a growing relationship with Him. (Acts 26:16-19)
Operating as usual
Acts 4:12 (ESV)
There is salvation in no one else (but Jesus), for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
Good morning church. Our home is in heaven. 1 Thessalonians 4:17 (ESV) “Then we who are alive, who are left, will be “caught up” together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.” The Latin term for “caught up” is, raptus, where we get the word “rapture”.
This is the same word used by Paul explaining his experience. 2 Corinthians 12:3 (ESV) “I know that this man was “caught up” into paradise!”
[08/02/20] Good morning church. Don’t get wrapped up in the chaos. Get alone with God and listen to HIS still small voice. 1 Kings 19:11-12 (NIV). A great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came “a gentle whisper” – or as some versions, “a still small voice!”
1 Kings 18:1 - "After many days the word of the LORD came to Elijah, in the third year, saying, “Go, show yourself to Ahab, and I will send rain upon the earth.”. God led Elijah through a time of true believers being persecuted. We can apply the lessons of Elijah's time to our own!
[07/12/20] Hosea 10:12 (ESV) “Break up your fallow (unplowed)ground, for it is the time to seek the LORD, that HE may come and rain righteousness upon you.” These chaotic times are divine opportunities and break up new unplowed ground. Therefore, we receive the fresh previously untouched fruit of God! While others stumble in the chaos, we take words and proclaim the greatness of God letting HIM pour out HIS divine rain upon us.
Good morning church. Happy Father’s Day especially to those who honor God. Habakkuk 2:20 (ESV)
But the LORD is in HIS holy temple;
let all the earth keep silence before HIM.
Good morning church. Psalm 91:1–16 (ESV) He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
—Names of God identify who protects us and who we trust:
- Most High – Elyon – No one higher – Ruler over and above all the universe. God our shelter is above all our circumstances.
- Almighty – El Shaddai – All sufficient – Pours Himself out on to HIS people. We live in God’s poured out blessing!
-LORD – Self Existing One – Jehovah or I am who I am! Our eternal God is our eternal protection!
-God – Elohim – Word is singular plural like football team, one team but 11 players. Reflects the Trinity, one God three persons. Deut.6:4 clarifies, “The Jehovah our Elohim, the Jehovah is one!” We trust the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!
[05/31/20] Correction. We will be going live at 10:05.
[05/31/20] Good morning!!! We will be starting up the video at 9:55 AM to give everyone a chance to join. The worship team will start at 10:00.
Pray with authority and power! Daniel 9:19 (ESV)
O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive. O Lord, pay attention and act. Delay not, for your own sake, O my God, because your people are called by your name.
Daniel gives an example that we should be the best citizens, the best employees, and the best neighbors possible, yet standing fast having “only one fault” that we worship the One True God. As we saw last week in the Fiery Furnace and this week in the Lion’s Den, God moves on behalf of HIS people. We are special in God’s sight. However, it is often through the Fiery Furnace and the Lion’s Den that God will use us to bring HIM glory.
[05/24/20] Good morning church. In the Bible Daniel gives an example that we should be the best citizens, the best employees, and the best neighbors possible, yet standing fast having “only one fault” that we worship the One True God. Daniel 6:5 (ESV). Then these men said, “We shall not find any ground for complaint against this Daniel unless we find it in connection with the law of his God.”
Christians have a higher authority than government. This is why those demanding worship at the Altar of Government hate Christianity. Nebuchadnezzar was filled with fury, and the expression of his face was changed when faced with believers who would not worship at his altar. But an absolute truth is that in all circumstances: Jesus is always in the fire with us!
