Just wanted to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Jones and his staff for the wonderful care that our dog Lacey received over the past 13 1/2 years. We will continue to grieve the loss of our wonderful pet but understand that it was time to let her cross the rainbow bridge. Thank you for the thoughtful card that you sent after our loss----it meant a lot. We are so grateful we found Dr. Jones when we moved to Ashburn 20 years ago.

We will continue to schedule and perform wellness and sick visit appointments. Any surgical and dental procedures will continue as planned. Your pet’s health remains our highest priority while we limit the person-to-person interactions to keep you and our staff as safe as possible.✨✨✨

Temporary Policies----

** We are asking pet owners NOT to enter the building if possible, unless a staff member has authorized you to do so**

✔️ Appointments: When you arrive for your appointment, please call and inform us of your arrival. We will then get any history or information pertaining to your pet’s appointment over the phone.

Clients are kindly asked to remain in the vehicles and on-site during the exam.

- A staff member will come out, remove your pet from the vehicle and bring it into the hospital for the appointment.
- We will call you upon completion of the physical exam with findings and recommendations, and answer any questions you may have.
- Upon completion, we will bring your pet back to you, and collect payment for services rendered.

✔️ Pick-ups: Please call ahead if possible to request food, medication, or any other items you need to pick up. When you arrive to pick up items needed please call us at 703-729-9200, we will collect payment and deliver the items to your vehicle.

We will continue to accept Care Credit as a form of payment. This will allow you to make payments over a 6 month period of time, interest free, to help reduce the risk and worry of withholding veterinary care for your pet.

We have received several questions from clients regarding the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). The safety of our clients, staff members and patients are our top priority.
At this time, appointments are running as usual and we are looking forward to giving your companion the best care possible. Please note that at this time there is no evidence that dogs or cats can get COVID-19.

We encourage all of our clients to follow these best practices to help keep yourself and others healthy, as recommended by the American Red Cross and CDC:

• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
• Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
• Disinfect surfaces around your home and work.
• Stay home when you are sick.

Please let us know if they are feeling any flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough or shortness of breath so that we may reschedule your upcoming appointment.

We are here to support the community in any way we can during this time of uncertainty . We do advise that you have 3-4 weeks of your pet’s food/litter/supplies/medication on hand in the chance of a possible quarantine. We are watching this situation closely and will continue to make any necessary changes as the situation unfolds.
