Loudoun Education Foundation

The Loudoun Education Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to educational excellence in Loudoun County Public Schools.

The Loudoun Education Foundation focuses on making connections with individuals, organizations and local businesses interested in supporting educational programs within Loudoun County Public Schools and identying the programs that need funding. The focus is on identifying and supporting programs that will enhance the educational experience our children receive during their time in our schools and investing in our teachers and administrators as they seek a higher level of educational excellence. Recognition and rewards are a critical component of achieving excellence and as such one of the Foundation’s key roles is to celebrate those individuals when they achieve such success.

Mission: The Loudoun Education Foundation’s mission is to invest community resources in educational projects that encourage the students, teachers and administrators of Loudoun County Public Schools to seek educational excellence and to celebrate those individuals that achieve such excellence.

The Loudoun Education Foundation has announced this year's winner of the Willowcroft World Language Fluency Scholarship which supports a Loudoun County Public Schools high school student in achieving fluency in a modern language and to award that student’s world language instructor a grant for teaching and mentoring the student. This year’s winner of the scholarship is Avery Donmoyer from Loudoun Valley High School. The scholarship for $8,000 will assist with costs associated with the application, registration, and participation in the CIEE Spanish Language Intensive in Alicante, Spain over the summer of 2020.

Yesterday at LVHS, we presented Ms. Erin Boldin a Willowcroft World Language Teacher Grant from Lew & Sharon Parker. Ms. Boldin was selected for this grant based on a nomination from the Willowcroft scholarship award winner, Avery Donmoyer. Congrats to Ms. Boldin and Avery!
