Due to the heightened severity in current events, we’ve ultimately decided that the studio will pause in-person offerings effective immediately on March 16th. We will continue to monitor this ever-changing situation and provide updates as things change.

YogaShak will soon be available to you with upcoming Online Classes, as our physical doors close for the time being. It is in our best interest to support you and serve our cOMmunity, in health and in wellness. We’ve shifted our efforts into now providing virtual class offerings, with both supportive and interactive content from our teachers to you... Details to come soon!!

The staff of YogaShak would like to thank you for your ongoing support in these unprecedented times!

We are issuing a change of pace for the studio as we progress through this together…

During this time we will offer a modified class schedule, starting Monday March 16th we will be limiting each class on our schedule to a maximum of 12 students per class, and require a sign-up online at least 2 hours prior to each class!

We love all of our class offerings here, but will be temporarily removing prenatal, mornin’ quickie, and sunrise yoga; with the intention to keep our studio a safe space.

In an effort to relieve the need for in-studio participation, we are now creating content in order to serve you online!

Our studio is a loving space that we devote our every effort into to support and maintain the health of our community,
in terms of cleanliness and even more so now with sanitization and management of all surfaces/contact materials, maintaining a safe haven for you to find your practice! We disinfect and heat sanitize all props, silks, and all surfaces before and after each class, persistently and effectively keeping our studio what it is meant to be, a welcoming and safe space!

Come enjoy this relaxing meditation and release from any inner stress!

The vibrations of the singing bowls in this sound bath will affect your sympathetic nervous system, causing deep relaxation. At the same time, your brain, heart and respiratory rates all will slow down, along with the pain reflex. The silk hammocks suspend your body with minimal pressure, and provide an ideal cocoon for letting you float into new levels of physical and mental relaxation.

Our Sound Bath is offered by David Fishel of Mindful - A Meditation Studio.

To our yoga family, we understand the rise in concerns about COVID-19, Coronavirus, so please rest assured that we are closely monitoring the situation within our area. Your health and safety are our top priority, and as of now, we are not canceling any events or classes. We hope you will continue your yoga practice, to help with your immunity and stress levels, during this time.

In an effort to keep everyone safe and healthy, we sanitize the studios after each class, this is something that has always been and will continue to be in our practice. We have Clorox wipes for your convenience. We also have soap and paper towels in each bathroom; as hand washing is recommended over hand sanitizer.

Finding a moment of intensity before releasing to the mat, you’re crazy, but the best kind of crazy! Keep up those chaturangas!

• Low Cobra
This posture is awesome for stretching the chest and strengthening through your spine and shoulders, this pose helps to stimulate abdominal organs so GO YOU on loving the support for your digestion!

• Upward-Dog
Another heart-opening pose that also aids in digestion, keep your shoulders away from your ears here, coming well off the mat in this pose will serve you most!

• Downward-Dog
You must love that extra circulation, sending your hips up high, no lies here! Stay truthful to your pose and allow some movement for release!
