C See's Quilts

I started my shop when I started to develop my own pattern line that I could bring with me when I spoke at quilt guilds. I give lectures and workshops.

I started my business in June of 2012. My first book will be coming out in October 2013 titled "Not Just Hexies". I am working closely with Paper Pieces on this book which will debut in Houston. Currently I am available for quilting guilds for Trunk shows. Starting in November I will be teaching half day or full day workshops with easy projects from my book which uses English Paper Piecing.

Mission: To promote the art of quilting through inspiration and education

Rebecca Wickline made these beautiful placemats and table runner from my Black & White & Food Allover pattern. She did a great job and I love the background fabric!

I had some super talented and creative students in my super hexa Deasy class! They came up with new arrangements and no two students did the exact same ones. All completed their top and many of them completed their appliqué or started even embellishment and quilting. What a fun day with a fun group of ladies and the most amazing sewing representative from Viking Deb North!

A view of just some of the vendors at Road to California

Deb from Viking showed us a new tool from Clover to help on pressing called the Fabric Folding Pen. Was great to use in My Super Hexie Daisy class. Photos to follow soon

Peekaboo! Don’t confuse me with Wilson from home improvement, but I do have some tools in my tool belt when it comes to quilting. Invite me to your guild to teach a workshop or give a lecture or attend a class at Road to California. Www.CSeesQuilts.com #quilting #englishpaperpiecing photo by Gabe Sigala

After 2 1/2 years I’ve decided to finally hang my quilt Hawaiian improv. It has competed in many quilt competitions and done well and now will only come out of retirement when I give lectures and teach workshops. Some patterns are available on my website with more to come in the future www.CSeesQuilts.com photos by Gregory Case

Soon the flowers will disappear as the Fall approaches. At least I have the bright colors in my quilt, Starlette to put a smile on my face. Pattern is available on my website CSeesQuilts.com photo by "Gabe" Gabriel Sigala

My newest lecture is a hit!
Quilter Curiosities – Q & A With A Professional Quilter

This is your opportunity to ask questions that you may have been curious, but may have been afraid to ask a professional quilter. I have been blessed with many experiences that I never dreamed I would ever have and until now only shared some of these with close friends and family. Questions are encouraged and “rewarded” and of course I will bring some of my quilts.

I made a larger sample for my Super Hexie Daisy Workshop. This fast, fun workshop uses machine piecing and turned-edge fusible applique and eliminates the dreaded Y-seam. Life is too short for Y-seams!

Ann Hammel wrote an amazing article for the Spring Paducah AQS show book where I was the featured artist of this show! It was a fantastic show and should be on every quilter's bucket list at minimum!

Today’s Super Hexie Daisy class was a lot of fun and we got a lot done

Mom caught sleeping in my classroom. Good thing it was lunch ( and she is not on Facebook) or I would be in trouble!

Awesome students today! We were rocking and rolling with our innovative hand quilting

Photos from my Hawaiian Aplique class today. Awesomely talented students! One of my former students, Janet Simmons brought her finished piece from last year‘s class that she added her own unique border to make it amazing. It is gorgeous and all hand quilted! tomorrow is hand quilting and Saturday is my super Hexie Daisy table topper. Both have spots available and are sure to be fun!

No I am not selling tickets for the Hampton Quilt Show, but my quilt is at instructors row directly behind the booth. There are still openings for a few spots in my classes which I’d be a lot of fun. Hope to see you at the show

Spots still available for Hampton Mid-Atlantic 2019

My Quilt Scroll came in supper handy designing a new table topper for my Super Hexie Daisy class. I got to visualize it in a smaller scale before cutting up all of my fabric. This is one of the classes I will be teaching at Mid-Atlantic in Hampton in a few weeks.
