185 years of praising God through song, service, and sustenance!
Hello & Welcome! Mt. Hope is a family of people who have come together to learn more about God and His love for us. We invite you to join us as we strive to make Him the center of our lives. We offer friendship, a helping hand, and a place to call home. Come see what the Lord is doing in our community, our church family, and our lives. We look forward to meeting you! John Zoller, Pastor
Dear Mt. Hope friends and family. Please take a minute to watch the following announcement and join us in prayer for the healing of our nation. May God's children support those who suffer racial injustice and rebuke hatred in all its forms. May the world know that we are Christians by our LOVE.
Let us worship our loving God.
Daily Bible Reading Meditation:
We've been asking people to share with the thoughts, praise, reflections etc... with the congregation. We will post them as they come in. Carrie shared this reflection on Memorial Day (thank you, Carrie!):
"I don’t normally celebrate Memorial Day other than just by having a cookout with my kids, but this year, having been quarantined for so long and with Arlington National Cemetery closed to tourists but open to family members, I thought it would be a neat time to go walk around and visit the graves of my parents and grandparents. It was a short but powerful visit - more so than other visits. It’s always an impressive place to experience, but recent events in the world made it even more significant. I felt connected as usual to the other family members there visiting their deceased relatives - many who died so young and tragically. But I also felt connected with all the people I saw with their COVID-19 masks on as we tried to follow the protocol and do what’s right and minimize the risks of spreading or catching the virus. And if that weren’t enough, I felt the tension in the guards who also were practicing heightened security due to recent elevated terrorist threat levels. It all made me see how vulnerable and ultimately weak all of us are. And that the only time we are truly safe is in God’s hands. I am thankful for Memorial Day to remember the sacrifices of those who died while serving in the military, and I am thankful every day for those who sacrifice and eventually die while serving God."
May the Lord bless His children. May we honor Him through our obedience and our love for others.

Good Morning and Happy Mother's Day! We thank God for the many strong, selfless, loving women that He has used to bless us!
Sing to the LORD, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples. For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the LORD made the heavens. Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy are in his dwelling place. I Chronicles 16:23-27
