I'm looking for someone to be a "vine trainer" for the next 5 months. It involves checking in on the vine, helping it stay on the trellis and trimming off the runners. It really should be done once a week or so, as it grows fast. It can choke out neighboring plants when it's allowed to trespass on their space. It's not hard at all, but it's a job that I'd really love the help with and it can be done whenever you can get there instead of having to be there at a specific time.

Teacher Snack

Can you believe it! Monday, May 6th is our last Teacher Snack Day of the year. We are asking all parents to consider contributing. Please sign up to bring an item to treat our teachers. They greatly appreciate the pick up boost that we all need come Monday morning! This month there will be a different weekend drop off location. Please contact Jess Klinger for information [email protected] Let's help feed some hungry and very hard-working teachers as they spend their day inspiring our kids. Please provide a healthy snack that can serve 40 people. We are looking for some grab and go items. SomeĀ items listed on the online sign up include juice, snack bars, K-cups, fruit, veggies, pretz...

This is a photo of cosmos from last summer. It has reseeded in a big way and there are many seedlings. We only have room for a couple of them, and so I'd love to give the seedlings to anyone who wants to plant them in their home garden. PM me Gwen Meehan if you're interested and can meet me at the garden after school one day next week.

Cosmos has exploded in blooms

Just A Reminder...As a result of school closing 2 hours early today, Tuesday, January 29th, there will be NO After School Activities.

Thank you to all our friends who came out and enjoyed a movie with us on Friday night. We hope you had as much fun as we did. For those who did not bring their jammie donations DON'T WORRY, you can send them in to school this week and we will be sure to get them.

Everyone settled in and enjoying the movie.

Where are you? We are at the Jammie Jam. Movie starts at 7pm.

And the winner is...Incredibles 2! Doors open at 6:30pm and movie starts at 7pm. If you can help out at our concession stand or selling spirit wear please comment here or email [email protected]. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night! Send the kids in their jammies and bring their sleeping bags/blankets. We will also be collecting new pajamas for our local charities so be sure to pack those as well. REMINDER...this is NOT a drop off event.

Just got word...Loudoun County Public Schools will operate on a two-hour delay on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 because of the forecast of extremely cold weather.

In addition to the cold temperatures, concerns related to the timely starting of the bus fleet after the extended student holiday contributed to the decision. Parents are encouraged to monitor students at bus stops and walking to school to insure adequate protection from the conditions.
